Oh Tl and code - you had me giggling at work which chocolate egg stories! I would seriously have had a meltdown with the missing mini eggs! As an aside to the aside, I do quite like those low beds with the shelf sides. Do you still have it code?
Anyway, off for my creme egg. yummmmyyy.
ETA - Any news from fairydust? I think she was due to start DR today?0 -
WOW, good luck T2D!!!0
-
Good luck t2d!
I'll eat some chocolate eggs in sympathy :-)0 -
Hi all – loving the crème egg chatter
I haven’t succumbed yet but I might just have to have one (or two) when I get to the stimming bit to cheer myself up. One injection = one crème egg, I think that ratio should be fine?
SewIt – glad your injection wasn’t too bad. My baseline scan is 4th Feb, I’ve got 3 weeks of sniffing (4 times a day) before seeing whether it’s done its job. At the moment, it all feels okay (although I'm well aware it's only been 24 hours!)
Picklekin – it’s always worth sending grouchy emails! See how far you can get and don’t forget, you can always put in a Freedom of Information request if they refuse to give out certain info. The best place to do this is with the ‘What Do They Know’ site. Huge amounts of good luck to youx
Time2Deal – wow, exciting! Hope it all goes well, I’ll definitely be thinking of you tomorrow xx
Also, thanks for updating the list – this might sound a bit sad but seeing my name change to italics on the list made me smile this morning and feel just a little bit eggcited!0 -
Glad it makes you happy FP! I really should think of a slightly more exciting way of showing the live IVF cycles.0

Good luck tomorrow T2D hope it all goes well.
I'm only telling you this because you don't know me in real life.
This morning I dropped my CBFM peestick down the loo!!! Horrendous. I had to fish it out with rubber gloves. Why is everything ttc-realated so undignified?0 -
clevername - it just gets worse. The good bit though is that after a while you don't even find things like that undignified.
I feel sorry for the people who don't have to constantly pee on things, discuss CM with strangers or have their OH see them while their legs are in stirrups and a bunch of strangers have a root around in there. I mean, these people must be so embarrassed by everything.0 -
Thanks FP, if nothing else sending the grouchy emails makes me feel better for venting!
I just had a weird call from my insurance company asking why I'd got my GP to call them, well, because my DH TOLD ME thats what I had to do to get a referral, I thought it was odd and double checked it with him, now we both look like right noodles. Still, at least they called me and I can fix it now.
Have any of you heard of Alex Swanton, I have to pick a Gynae for my apt and want to pick a good one, but obviously don't want to travel to far. He's the one the GP mentioned and he looks OK but wondered if any of you had seen him?
Good luck tomorrow T2D0 -

Funny you should mention that.
I'm really not sure if I want DH to come to the EC tomorrow. I mean, he has to be at the clinic, but previously my EC's were done under a GA and he just chilled in the ward waiting for me to come back.
(Poor DH has spent a LOT of time hanging out in wards waiting for me to come back from various theatres!)
He went to one follicle scan ages ago, and was totally shellshocked after. Plus one other scan in the cancer times where he was unfortunately placed at the end of the bed, with a wonderful view I am sure. In both cases I was more worried about him being uncomfortable than I was. Plus I genuinely think it messes with our sex life for a while, something that is hard enough to keep special, with all this talk of cancer and infertility. I swear we are only in the last few months really recovering from the operations earlier in the year. He was nervous of hurting me, and I was nervous of being hurt or never being able to enjoy it properly again. So between us it's been a tough year, and I don't want to take a step backwards.
We'll address ET if it comes to that.
There is no easy answer I suppose. He's working late tonight too so will only have a moment around midnight to discuss it. What is everyone else's experience of that?0 -
T2D - I always feel more relaxed and stress free when DH is around with me for these appointments but I make sure he is near my head so that he can see the screen rather than see whats going on at the bottom:D
and before I forget all the best for tomorrow. What time is the EC ? hope Tealovers egg dance produces some extraordinary eggs:jSaving goal for BTL mortgage - 28600 / 60000 ( July 2021) , 37600/60000 (December 2021) , 39300 / 60000 (august 2022) , 41000/60000 ( January 2023)0
