How dare you refer to me in this manner. If there is something you'd like to say to me directly thats what pms are for, its completely out of order of you to post horrible comments about me and its not the first time either. If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all.

Congrats to TeamLowe! A surprise boy, and a wonderful name (well used in my family).

And BZ - we are watching you too. :)
  • Mary - I get that you don't like being talked about in a derogatory way which is fair enough.... But to be honest, the ladies on this thread who have seen your post got quite upset due to the nature of what you said... Its a pretty unusual situation you have and the ladies on here (like myself) who have been ttc for MANY years in some cases, find it really hard to understand why anyone would give up a healthy baby just because of its gender. Of course, we don't know your reasons fully and you don't have to explain yourself but my advice would be just accept that your issues are VERY far removed from what the ladies on here are currently experiencing and so you won't get much "tea and sympathy" on here. In fact, your presence may well cause a riot  So my advice, and I really do mean this in the most good natured way (see my other posts about your situation earlier in this thread) would be to leave this thread and don't come back ONLY because it will cause upset - to you, and others on here. You aren't TTC - So no need to be on here xx
Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?
  • On a different note to last post.....

Had MEGA ovary area pain yesterday - not horrenous but obviously something going on... and got a solid smiley OPK digi yesterday morning, which means OV will occur within 48 hours. Still getting cramping now but not so bad ... so i guess thats OV pain  Not sure whether it means I have OV'd yesterday or its still happening, LOL!

Anyway - Because of DH getting into a right old tizz about the long wait for SA results, I called and moaned lol... so they brought it forward - but still got to wait until Friday  Ridiculous! Although I think the receptionist gave it away a bit.. she was reading the notes on system and then said "okay well it says the GP needs to ring regarding results with instructions and then a retest..". So obviously SOMETHING not right...:eek::eek::eek::eek:

Hi bigmomma, I posted on here because anither poster alerted me to the comment that I responded to, but for that comment I would not have needed to post here at all, for someone to refer to me in that way is out of order.

I have no idea how anyone on this thread would know about my situation given that i t waa posted on a different thread, I of course would not wish to upset anyone on this thread and I am sensitive to the fact that the ladies here are ttc.

I completely understand that people would struggle to understand how I felt and I'm not asking them or anyone to do so, I'm simply asking not to be spoken about in a nasty way, particularly for a situation that is not easy to explain, and I don't think that is unreasonable. I'm sure anyone would feel that way and I'd like this to be the end of it so that no one gets upset.

I hope that all the ladies on here concieve soon, I really wish you all the best x

Mary - we know the same way you do - read back you own post to see how it happened! Someone alerted us. The ttc threads do feed into the pregnancy threads you realise.

But I echo migmommas comments. Mabye this isn't the best thread for you.

BM, that's very annoying of the doctors. Basically create more worry for you for a week. Fingers crossed for you both.
  • BM, my oh had to do 2 tests a couple of months apart. I think it was just to get consistent results. This seemed to be their standard practice. I don't know how common this is but, just because they want another test, it's not necessarily bad news.
  • Meant to say also, Mary - I am glad to hear that you are receiving support now and your daughter will be staying with you :)
