Well back from appointment, went fine I think, though can't understand the bright spark that thinks its ok for women going for fertility tests to sit in a room stuffed full of pregnant ladies.

So we had a chat, with her confirming that if we got to the point of needing IVF I will need to lose weight. I've been given the necessary forms to go back and do day 2, and then day 21 bloods next month (or when I'm ready), and have been referred for an ultrasound scan. They phoned upstairs for the results of hubbys SA, he's got to go back in January for another one as he hadn't given them enough of a 'deposit' but as far as they could see it was fine.
Had an internal and they've taken swabs, so all there is to do now is sit and wait for results, and day 2 and obviously have loads and loads of jiggy jiggy.
Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.

Yes I thought it was odd too as all my tests were done in Frimley and sat with all the ladies waiting for 12 week scans!

    Hello ladies

Hugs T2D what a time you've had of things, it sounds like you're being looked after by the best though so keeping my fingers firmly crossed for you x

Hugs for the bleeding PM I'm not surprised you feel so fed up x

Hooray for things moving star x

Hugs for being pregnancy bombed vesper, it sounds like your appointment was quite useful though x

been awol as super busy at work (also got roped into doing some sporting events for Movember of all things, I know my nose neighbour is quite noticeable but its not that bad!)

sat here right now with carpy ovulation pains, I can't believe it took me about 9 months to work out what the heck it was causing such a heavy dragging pain once a month! I now need to get booked in for my "day 21" bloods so heres hoping they can fit me in.

I have to give DH his due he has been a hero on the BD front this month, I think its to make up for the last 3 cycles when we didn't try, we've BD every other day since I got my high on CBFM and squeezed a final one in today so fingers crossed!

    Hugs to all x

Oh PM, sorry to hear that. It's not fair, is it!

vesper - glad your appointment went ok. From the map I got sent, I think ours is located away from the pregnant lady bit, or at least, I hope it is.

In a grump, because today I saw a colleague I haven't seen in a while (she's one of the annoying b!!!!y cliquey ones so I haven't missed her), and noticed she appears to have grown a huge bump, that I swear wasn't there last time I saw her. My first thought was "That's not fair! She's already got one and she's so annoying. I don't have one and I'm much nicer so how come I don't get one?" Then I went and got myself loads of chocolate, which will make no difference because the 5lbs I lost has gone straight back on.

I don't think I've even ov'd yet. Not that it even matters if I have, but still...

    Grump, grouch, grouch, grump.

    This is me today:

  • Hi time2deal,

Can I join you lovely ladies.

About myself:myself 33, DH -43, officials started TTC from May 2013 but NTNP from last 2 years. no problems from DH. For me moderate endo which was operated yesterday. But very low ovarian reserve according to AMH test and FSH hormone so referred to IVF first appointment on 4 February

AFM, had my first FS appointment in August then all tests like ultrasound, HSG, bloods to check all hormones etc

Then concluded I have medium to moderate endo and I had a laparoscopy yesterday. Resting at home currently.

My AMH and hormone results show that my ovarian reserve is very less and hence I was referred to IVF straight away.

First IVF appointment on 4 th february.

What I can expect in my first appointment?

Thanks for all the help and support this thread has provided.

    Having a crisis point

Just had a phonecall to say our updated results (which were required for form) show my husband's count has become worse over the last two years from 3m to less than 1m.

They will still send off my referal form today, but may need to do surgical retrevial for ICSI (if there are any at all). So NHS have decreased our chances after making us wait the last two years as deemed too young.

I haven't called my husband yet.:(
