Does anyone think it's bad if I decide not to go to the classes?

I really don't want to nor does OH, he will go if I make him but with me not being keen myself i'm thinking whats the point?

Our hospital runs baby first aid and I will go to that but don't want to go to the rest at all.

claire16c - If it make you feel any better, I've had bleeding in my last 3 pregnancy's. It's really scary and I glad that you're taking it easy.

twigpig - Everyone thinks I'm mad! lol :) Except my sister, who has 3 and is also currently pregnant!

con1888 - I don't think its bad, I've never been to one. To be honest midwives can coach you in the first stage of labour but you body just takes over.

It's 8 days until hubby is home  Can't believe its nearly been 4 months since I last saw him. I'll be glad of the help, I'm getting really tired walking to my daughters nursery and back. It's only round the corner! Although my daughters off today as she's been ill all night, I'm hoping she's not got the hand, foot and mouth thats been going around her nursery.

Well that's what I'm thinking, woman have been having babies since time began.. there is heaps of information in all the books I've been given and on the internet and not every labour is the same so I'd rather just take it as it comes. My brothers fiance didn't go to classes either and she done just fine. I know people say it's good to go to meet other mums but I know plenty mums... I have friends... I don't need new people to lunch with lol.

Jen 1985 - I'm 23+3 and I am so big. They do say you get bigger with each pregnancy and that's been true for me. This is number 3.

Kat - I would love 4 but I think this one will be my last. Maybe if I were a bit younger.....
  • I'm 14+1 and only have a tiny bump, I'm a size 8 so though it would be popping out more than it is - suppose I have plenty time and whilst it stays small I don't have to worry about stretch marks :D

faith - pretty sure this one (no 2) will be our last too. Not sure we can afford the 3rd and I'd hate for me and hubby to be out-numbered! :rotfl:
    TTC #3..........

I know my friends partner found it all very odd knowing the baby was so close when DTD so he wouldn't do it the whole pregnancy.

Ha this is bf exactly! He thinks he will knock the baby about/cause some damage so is being funny. We have done it a few times though :)

Hope everyone is feeling ok today especially Claire and TL :o
Wearing my only dress that makes me look pregnant today as I had an event with work this morning and then we are off to nieces birthday meal (1st birthday) tonight so I wanted to go reasonably smart but look pregnant hahah whilst going straight from work!

Lush, I've really popped now and weirdly LOVE looking pregnant!:rotfl:
Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!
  • In all my other clothes I just look like I've had a big lunch so loving this dress today :) Feel like I have reason to sit and just rub or cradle my little bump. Goodness knows where the baby fits in there without more of a bump by the measurements from our scans/app predictions!

My hips are hurting today at the back, I think she must be sitting round there as at the last scan my placenta was in an anterior position so at the front. I got really worried she was going to feel squashed between the placenta and my organs/bones for a week or two after I was told that because they also said 'hmm I'd have expected more of a bump' haha!

Although bf today said 'y'know...it's not a big bump but you have got bump definition there' and traced the edges of what would be a lovely bump if it were bigger so feeling much better.

Neice's 1st birthday today and I've already seen the rubbish she's been given by bf's brother and his gf (her parents). Honestly...she is their second, they by them loads of rubbish and then make them keep it in their rooms then sell it after a 4-6weeks! Only two of the toys are even age appropriate for a 1year old and she's hardly being treated the same as her older brother (4) who gets at least 16 presents (all £10-15+) for birthday and Christmas. Never mind the presents he randomly gets when out like at ASDA etc!
