I've had this a little bit too... Not worried. I have no end of trouble with my nose and sinuses though!

Thanks everyone it is interesting to see when people are buying. I might start buying more bits for the kitchen might sound bizarre but I am more worried about money after the baby than buying things before. So if something like sugar or ceral has a long date and on offer I will buy more if on offer.

I think I will wait until nearer 20 weeks. The spare room is more of a dumping ground and I know we will have to clear that out for the baby.

Great news claire16c I hope you just have the tail end of blood and that will be it.

  • Glad it was positive news Claire :)

Also glad it's not just me with nose/sinus issues. I have problems with them anyway especially round winter but the little bleeds are new as is the tightness in my actual nostrils.

Will be glad when I have finished work in the next 15 minutes as it's not been the best of days, it's frustrating but at least I'm not like some of my colleagues writing the day off from the beginning! Going to cheer myself up tonight though and have a quick listen to baba's heartbeat before bf's brother comes round for a bit :)

First of all though we are off to ASDA for a few boring bits and bf's birthday cake :) Went and got a dress to wear for his birthday surprise on my lunch. Hadn't planned to but want to make a special event of it. It's a non-maternity dress with a dipped hem (high at front, low at the back) which isn't my usual style but it looked fairly decent on and once I put some accessories etc with it I'm sure it will look lush. It's a little tight on the chest but not too tight if you get what I mean and in a mossy green which isn't I colour I usually go for! Definitely one to put away for after baba too which was important in my decision making! will wear it then even if dipped hems are 'out' by then haha

Urge just had a row with OH :( now my headache is even worse. Trying to relax in the bath but it's not helping much, too stressed out.

I just feel he isn't being helpful or supportive at all. He doesn't do romance and that's ok as I'm not a soppy person but sometimes a little affection would be nice. Then when I ask for help around the house he says ' I done x last week' yes the house needs tidied more than once a week! Que a huge huff where he acts like an overgrown child and is now in bed. I honestly wish I could just run away at the moment and maybe he would realise the extent of how I feel and make more of an effort but I've no where to go and I can't leave my furries :(

Do we have the same BF?? this sounds like my other half down to a T :o

It's very frustrating - I know how you feel, If he gets a day off work he spends it on the XBox, my day off work involves hoovering, dusting and tidying!:(

I think we do LOL only it's the ps3 for him. I've been off work the past few days unwell and he's like why couldn't you have done the housework then... He thinks I am exaggerating how bad I feel Ill wise.. I'm actually sick of it at the moment and won't let it lie. He will think when he wakes up everything will be rosy again but I'm not having it... It just means the same situation a few weeks down the line .

I could honestly just throttle him at times...

    Claire, I'm glad every-things ok.

Faith, He's defiantly the last one, hubby is booked in for the snip when he comes back. He had booked it before I found out I was pregnant :o

Well unfortunately my daughter does have hand, foot and mouth. Called my midwife this morning and she reassured me that it's ok if I get it. On the upside, it only lasts a week, My only hope is that the kids take it in turns having it!

Glad all is ok Claire... popped back in to check up on you. :)

We got our cot bed mattress from Tesco, using clubcard boost. I used about £25 of vouchers and got sprung mattress with removable cover and 2 sheets. Only had to add £1 to it. Free delivery to local store too.
