Might buy an Uppababy Vista. Seems strong, well built, massive basket, and ideal for tall couples. I'm nearly 5'9 and hubbie is 6'5, and it keeps the baby quite high up high without a bar across near where our long stride might hit into. Anyone else getting it or tried it?Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0

I reallllllly want the vista. I love it. Hubby thinks "It's a bit dull looking" but he wants all the gadgets etc. He wanted a recaro babyzen... lights on the front, white frame etc, but it doesn't do parent facing with the seat in. He did agree that the vista is well made and folds nicely, and is now on a hunt to find one local enough on ebay! I'm 5'5" and the handle at it's highest felt too tall for me. Hubby (5'9") tried it at it's middle-ish setting and said it was about the right height. I liked how high up baby is too. I'm very clumsy and kicked the backs of lots of the ones we tried, but I didn't with the vista. I also love the built in sunshades and the way the carrycot lifts off... much easier than the others we'd tried.First date 10.2.2002

Kynthia - it was one we looked at and I liked it
was nice to push. I'm 5ft2 though so no help with the height thing
Emz - the carrycot thing on most prams baffles me. How are you supposed to unclip it with both hands and then take it off .. with the baby inside?
That's one thing I liked about the bugaboo, you press the buttons and it releases but then you have both hands free to lift it off while it is also resting on the pram frame still.
Cannot believe I'm 24 weeks on Monday, the time is flying. Found my first 'pregnancy stripe' (stretch mark!) as my husband called it last night.First baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140 -
Checking in for the first time in ages... Been away on holiday for a week :-)
19 weeks today. My Vertbaudet free changing bag arrived this morning... I'm pretty impressed given I only had to spend about £15 to get it.
Also if anyone is after the Angelcare monitor its cheapest since January on Amazon (£53.20). We ordered one even though we were supposed to be waiting till after next scan. Hope it helps someone :-)

bought some maternity tights today as my usual ones are now uncomfy... mamas and papas, they better fit as i need them tonight !!
Also got stranded in the shopping centre with a flat tyre lol, brother had to come help me as tyre was too heavy to lift I thought... I would have managed it but didn't want to take the risk plus I wasn't too sure where the jack went either lol !!!
spent about 30mins being sick this morning grrr... I really hope it doesn't stay right through.0 -

I can sympathise. I am very sick 3 or 4 mornings each week just after I get up. No idea why but it's horrible, especially when there is nothing in your stomach.
We've had to stop DS's potty training as even the thought of unsavoury things makes me wretch terribly

I felt like from around 14-20 weeks the time flew.
Now I feel like it's dragging as I'm terrified again.
Lily I'd have to do the same thing. Anything bad smelling like that sets me off!0 -
Time has absolutely flown since my 12 week scan. It's my last day on this thread today too ... Going to miss you ladies!! XFirst baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140
