Have you been over doing it the last few days claire16c?
I do hope the blood tails off and the watery discharge is just heavy discharge. Did they take any swabs to test what the fluid is?
AFM- Casarole in the pot and waiting for OH to come home.
Mother in law has just brought round two fleece blankets - one blue spotted and one pink. Make me chuckle - its her first biological grandchild (she treats DS as if she is his Nanny)3 Children - 2004 :heart2: 2014 :heart2: 2017 :heart2:

They took swabs to check for infection, not sure if it was for anything else.
I wish the scan was tomorrow, I'm scared to go to sleep, stand up, go to the loo, just anything really.
The position of my placenta was normal at the scan and we haven't had sex since the summer because I've been puking or feeling ill every night since then. So it's not like I can blame it on that. It definitely won't be happening now either! Even DH says he's too scared.
I'm terrified of the scan on Friday.0 -
Here's my symptoms, let me know what you think:
I had late afternoon and evening sickness. I felt dreadfull and nauseous, retched a lot and could barely face dinner for weeks but never once vomited.
Had lots of lower back ache and still can't sit in straight backed chairs but could have been an early sign of PGP.
My bump still isn't obvious to all and I'm still wearing size up normal trousers. Baby is low but I think my bump is flattish and high.
I've only put on 9lbs and I'm 23 weeks.
I still eat sweet things but less than before. Chocolate has less appeal and I'm eating more crisps, bacon and sausages but that might be because I'm not dieting.
I haven't noticed any increase in hair growth anywhere.
I've had terrible indigestion/acid reflux but I'm prone to it anyway.
My skin is bad anyway but it definitely hasn't got worse, maybe slightly better.
Any other guesses ladies as I have 17 weeks to wait! I can't tell ŷou whether the heartbeat is still fast or what it sounds like as the rubbish GP at my 22 week appointment only found it for 4 seconds and then gave up.
I'm so exhausted and not coping with the long days and commuting. I popped to the GP today and he's sending me for my 28 week blood tests early in case it's anaemia. If anyone else is so tired they could almost cry, iron deficiency affects 1 in 4 pregnant women, so maybe get tested.
Claire, take care and know that the baby moving is a really good sign.
Teamlowe, I'm thinking of you too.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0 -

Good luck for Fri Claire, hope everything is fine x
Glad to hear it's not just me with the sex thing! We've had sex about twice since getting BFP, just not feeling like it at all and worried about something happening to baby!
I don't believe any of these stories about horny pregnant women!! Think it's a myth that men make up... Unless any of you ladies can prove me wrong! I think our sex life might resume normally in about 12 months ha ha! If we have time!0 -
Claire I am so glad everything was as good as it could possibkt be. I know you're scared (very understandable) but right now you need to rest. Dont get off the sofa/ out of bed except for the loo, get loads of cushions and get all snuggly and of course OH is your slave for the nextbtwo days! He better feed and water you or the mse ladies will be comingnfor him!
Seriously though, rest up and try to relax, stressing will do no good. Xxx0 -
Claire I'm glad you are ok will be thinking of you over the next few days xxFirst baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140

I was feeling bad, as after practically forcing hubbie at the 'right' time each month when ttc we've now only done it once and I got a uti! :rotfl: Talk about offputting. :rotfl:Hubbie's is a bit reluctant due to the baby, and I've felt too tired and sick for far too long. Then when the sickness went I got a horrid virus for over two weeks and once I got better he got it. I'm not ruling it out for the rest of the pregnancy, but i'll see how he feels.
A family member told me her hubbie didn't want to dtd for the whole pregnancy either which she found upsetting.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0 -
I know my friends partner found it all very odd knowing the baby was so close when DTD so he wouldn't do it the whole pregnancy.
We have done it once, just before 12 weeks, mainly from concern of miscarriage, Dr said that I was silly, but hey we all have thoughts and feelings.3 Children - 2004 :heart2: 2014 :heart2: 2017 :heart2:

Claire.... get lots of rest hun, take care of yourself.
I have no idea what we're having, because I keep changing my mind! Hubby still thinks boy though.
as for DTD, hubby's not keen... has images of poking baby in the eye! Lol. I'm no different to how I was before I was PG to be honest... just having to put up with it!
I am 24 weeks today... eeeeeeek! Big thread for me!
Told my class at school yesterday, but not many parents mentioned it at parents eve. One asked how many weeks I was, then asked how I'd kept it hidden so well! Bless her!
The children are being lovely at the moment, although it's a bit odd having them looking at my bump all the time.
See you all in the big thread soon. XFirst date 10.2.2002

To those talking about sex, we didnt do anything for a while either but a few days ago I found myself "feeling that way" *ahem* and practically jumped on my husband as soon as the little one was in bed! Not that he minded lol!0
