I had never heard of the leg hair thing until you just mentioned it so I've just googled it and that's another thing that's true for me!! strangely enough I had been wondering about my leg hair as previously it grew at the speed of light and if I shaved on a Monday I'd have gorilla legs again by the Tuesday!!?
Now they're hardly growing and I'm only needing to shave them every 4 or 5 days (or when I can be bothered). I love that my little girl is making them grow less!! :-)

My girl symptoms were: evening sickness, a galloping heartbeat and a pointy chin on the dating scan!!! Not sure if I have any others but I just kind of knew from the start - mothers intuition!!

I didn't know evening sickness was a girl symptom.

Here's my symptoms, let me know what you think:
I had late afternoon and evening sickness. I felt dreadfull and nauseous, retched a lot and could barely face dinner for weeks but never once vomited.
Had lots of lower back ache and still can't sit in straight backed chairs but could have been an early sign of PGP.
My bump still isn't obvious to all and I'm still wearing size up normal trousers. Baby is low but I think my bump is flattish and high.
    I've only put on 9lbs and I'm 23 weeks.
I still eat sweet things but less than before. Chocolate has less appeal and I'm eating more crisps, bacon and sausages but that might be because I'm not dieting.
I haven't noticed any increase in hair growth anywhere.
I've had terrible indigestion/acid reflux but I'm prone to it anyway.
My skin is bad anyway but it definitely hasn't got worse, maybe slightly better.
Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!
  • Huge hugs Claire!! Xxx

Just to let you know with my DD2 I had bright red bleeding on and off from 18 weeks for about 6 weeks. Although I panicked each time, they never found out what caused it and there was nothing wrong with either me or her. Xxxxx
  • Marywooyeah - I think it's a bit creepy that the woman you mentioned worked out who you were and followed you online. As you said she's not a friend of yours so there's nothing you need to do to help her. I would just leave it and don't feel guilty about enjoying your pregnancy. It's a lovely time and you enjoying it won't make any difference to her situation. X

It sounds like everything's OK Claire, but sending you positive vibes for a happy baby! :)

The leg hair thing is funny, I got super hairy within a couple of weeks of my positive and I'm having a boy so I guess the signs were all there from the start! :p

Claire, that's all sounding very positive. Hope the last few checks are ok...

I am very similar or if not hit those symtoms too. My sickness is so much worse at night.

They checked my cervix, had quite a lot of blood so the OB had to get a consultant to make sure they were agreeing on stuff so had to have that delightful process twice, she cleaned it with something then said cervix looks fine looks like you had a bleed but it's now tailing off so hopefully will stop.

However as the bleeding was quite watery they want to check the amniotic fluid levels so I've got a scan on Friday & she said just take the rest of the week off work so I took that as I should rest. And monitor what comes out on a pad.

I'm just so scared something is wrong with the waters now although the OB said watery discharge is normal but as there's no way of telling if it's discharge or fluid they can only be sure with a scan. And said it was pointless to do it today as you need to have some time go past in order to properly say it's ok.

My pulse was high due to anxiety when we arrived so after taking blood they put a cannula in ready for a drip but didn't need it in the end but just have a sore arm now,

And terrified each time I move or go to the loo. Baby is moving about all over the place which they kept saying was positive.

So just going to probably spend the next day and a half google scaring myself :(
