Claire I can't blame you for getting worried, I would be too, but even with fluid loss there are things they can do. Hopefully all this is "something and nothing" and the scan on Friday is all fine. how many weeks are you now? Thinking of you :)

Claire I'm glad to hear the hospital are taking care of you. Rest up and look after yourself, this does not include googling to scare yourself. You need to stay calm and rest as much as possible.

    You can do this

Really hope the scan on Friday is positive news Claire. Make sure you do have plenty of rest and please stay away from Google, it won't help your stress levels at all! If you can feel the baby moving about as normal I'd take that as a good sign so have a nice chat with her about how it's not nice to scare Mummy and that she must behave and get your feet up! :)

The fact baby's moving is really good, as is the fact they've let you go home and don't need to see you again for two days.

I know it's a ridiculous thing to say, but you need to try not to worry too much. The lower your stress levels, the better. Could you get some movies out to distract you tomorrow? Or have some close friends around this evening/Thurs evening?

  • Seconding Birdie with the not googling, and if you do (I'd completely go against what I'm saying and I would be on there as soon as I got home!), but if you do look take it all with a pinch of salt.

Hope you manage to relax and try to get some rest. Fingers crossed for the scan on Friday. Hopefully feeling the little one wriggling around is reassuring you a bit x

good to hear your update claire. Its +ve that they've not kept you in for monitoring, and that you can feel baby moving around.
Try to get some good rest in, easier said than done i know!

re - gender indications.... OH and I really thinking girl, but no idea why!
I had nausea all the time up to 16 weeks ish, but no actual sickness. Have not noticed any extra hair growth. Still not put any substantial weight on, ( lost a stone from bfp, gained back 3/4 lbs) and bump is quite neat.
So could we be spot on? Does this sounds like a little madam?!

Claire how strange, whilst you were waiting for a doctor so was I, but I'm lucky enough that I only had a little spotting

Be thinking of you, to me it sounds positive, most important thing is baby is ok, they can and will do whatever they can to you to keep baby happy and healthy so rest up well and try not to Google

Take good care of yourself x x

    Thanks everyone.

I'm just praying it's watery discharge and not fluid.

I've read some positive but also scary stuff but I don't really even know what's happening yet its just so up in the air. So I'm trying not to research stuff I might not have to.

TL I'm sorry you were having problems too! Awful morning. I hope it goes away for both of us. Do they know why it was?

I'm just lying on the sofa watching tv trying to rest, thr baby is really moving about which is great I'm just so worried about why I was bleeding & the fluid thing.

    I'm 20 weeks big zippy x

  • Thinking of you Claire, stay positive, and make sure you get lots of rest x

Hope your okay too TeamLowe! x

Loving seeing people guess babies sex. Our babys HB is kind of like a train, and I had sickness (pretty much all day) up till 15 weeks, small neat low bump, not put on much weight either. Thought it was a girl from the start, but now thinking boy. Only 2 weeks till we find out :)
