I can't get your link to work Becca!

Yes I really like it. They had a pink one in m&p but it was a bit too pink and the mother care one had a cuter pattern & was cheaper!

Con - oh dear 7am no wonder he's grumpy! I'm always telling my DH to go to bed earlier too.

Yes he says ' you sound like my mum' and I reply ' well obviously your mum is right you stay up too late then ruin the next day cos you are either sleeping/grumpy'. He used to blame it on being nightshift for so long but he has been dayshift for around a year now...

That's so sweet and looks like you got a bargain!

I love white too but we've decided to go for light brown to match a bookshelf we already have in the room. But all my living room furniture is white and the Moses basket stand is white :) as we figured that would be in the living room sometimes, and our bedroom which has white wardrobes!

I love that set Becca... it would have been what we had but then we were given some from mum.

Went to an NCT sale today... just happened to see it advertised on FB this morning, so popped along. It started at 2 (1.45 for members) we got there just before 3 and she charged us £1 instead of £1.50 as most stuff was gone. We picked up a fisher price rainforest cot mobile for £8 though, instead of £45 new! It doesn't have a remote, but knowing us we'd lose it anyway!!!

Yesterday I went shopping and got 2 pairs of leggings, a pair of jeans, a top, a jumper and a hoodie for £48 in New Look. Well happy!!!

I went to Ikea and picked up a chest of drawers and some picture frames in the week, and found someone selling a Poang chair on facebook near me for £15!!!

So basically our nursery is done! Just need to get the curtains. I'm so pleased with it, it's tiny, but lots of storage and feels more spacious than it is. It is also really neutral, but not beige or bland. When I get the curtains I'll share some pics. :)

Productive half term week for me! Shame I've got to go back to school tomorrow (INSET) then have 2 parents evenings. Urgh! That means a ten hour day and a 12 hour day. :/

Edited because I forgot to ask... is anyone else suffering from heartburn? I've got a prescription on it's way for some more gaviscon, so I think it's just a case of tough at the moment! I just don't know what to do with myself when it hits, because it's soooo painful!!!

I've been suffering awful heartburn the past few days, in fact I'm about to take a Rennie tablet in a moment before I go to bed. Mine usually hits just before bed and burns like crazy when I lay down to sleep.

No advice I'm afraid but loads of sympathy :o

    Hi girls,

    Hope everyone's well!

Hi Marywooyeah, glad to see you on this thread :)

Love the Moses basket Claire, so cute!

Well I have just been 'pregnancy outed' on FB :( I am quite a private person and have been telling friends and family (who I care enough about) in person, when I see them, then a long distance relative just congratulated me on my pregnancy and not even in a private message. Very cross, but didn't want to cause trouble so just said thanks. But now more questions are coming through, all on my wall! So much for privacy...

Oh well off for a cup of tea and going to put my feet up ready for first day back to work tomorrow.

Hi! That is so inconsiderate of yoyr relative! Can you delete it before more damage is done? I'm sure there is an option to approve posts before they go on the wall, might be worth checking your settings. X

    Oh no.

I've been doing the same but luckily everyone who does know has been really considerate only pming me or asking who knows/is it ok to talk about yet.

So I'd feel the same. But I'm sure they didn't mean any harm, I think you can delete wall comments?

Emz the dates on your sig are so similar to mine & DHs! We met at the end of 2002 & got married in 2011, and also engaged 2 years before that! X
