Con I started to feel movement a few days after 17 weeks & I'm still sick too.
Kynthia sounds like my hubby! And he wouldn't interfere either he's way too lazy :rotfl:
Becca was it that amazon offer they matched to?0 -
24 weeks today, can't believe it!
Been off sick last couple of days because of back ache and constipation - oh the shame! (didn't tell work about constipation!)
Wanted to share this video, it's called "admire the perfect creation of god" sorry for the controversial title but it made me quite emotional watching it! It's been doing the rounds on facebook so you might have seen it anyway.

Thanks for all your support, it's meant a lot to me!0 -
See you in the next thread Jox!
Lovely bright day today, might actually get some washing on the line!
Got the cot out of the box to check all ok (it's been sat in the hall way for weeks) and it's now repackaged and waiting in the spare room.
Hopefully get the nursery done in January.
Got a trip to kiddicare in notts planned for December, so will not be looking at pushchairs until then.

Hi guys, I would really like to know if anyone else thinks they might have Pelvic Girdle Pain or SPD? I'm really worried that I'm a wimp that is whinging and whining over every little thing in this pregnancy when I should be bouncing around and blooming in my second trimester. Until week 8 I was jogging up stairs and going to bums & tums classes. I've now even stopped going to yoga, I'm on prescription indigestion medication and sometimes can't walk properly. I'm not in agony or crippled or anything and I've still been commuting to work, going to dinner with hubbie and seeing friends and family occasionally. However I'm fearful of how bad the PGP might get, the effect of life and work and will it mean early maternity leave. I'm also feeling pressure as I'm the main earner and the thought of no pay for the latter maternity leave when we're about to buy a house is weighing on me. It's nice to be able to decompress on here without worrying hubbie or sounding like a whinger who should be grateful she's pregnant.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0

I had what I think was PGP in my first pregnancy. Stiff pelvis when walking and huge difficulty turning over in bed (couldn't lift my pelvis up to roll over). It never got bad enough for me to see a doctor, so I was never properly diagnosed.
If yours is getting really bad I would definitely mention it to the midwife. With SPD, women can end up on crutches or in a wheelchair, and there are definitely things you can be given to help (referrals to physio, support belts etc).Mortgage when started: £330,995

Hi Jen  Its so exciting isn't it to see baby for the first time. You'll spend the next few weeks like me, counting down till the next scan!
There's a list on here somewhere, if you want to copy and add yourself.
Sorry to hear you're having a tough time Kynthia, I really don't know much about spd either.
But would definitely second getting to see your midwife if you can.Mini me due March 2014

Another newbie here. Also had my 12 week scan today which was amazing and emotional. We were ICSI so we'd had a 6w & 8w scan and the difference was incredible.
After the journey we've had, I still can't believe I get to post in this thread!
I'm more of a reader than a poster these days but I look forward to getting to know everyone!
