    Debt-free and Proud!
Continued ((((hugs)))) for Mrs_T_M if you are still reading xxxx

Welcome newbies and goodbye and good luck to those moving up.

Robots I would be really cross too! It's not anyone else's news to tell and I think your OH should try and be a bit more understanding.

Derby I keep feeling strokes too and it started last week. I am 15+2 now and it is only every few days but I'm sure it's movement.

Bumblebee you can ring your consultant's secretary and say you need to talk to him/her and discuss it with them. I can see how that would be very worrying and leave you conflicted. It would be worth going back to both of them and asking for research etc so you can weigh up the risks properly yourself.

As for me, I am getting lots of strtchy feelings low in my bump, and am really showing now despite still not telling many people! It's getting farcical now as surely everyone knows but I'm not telling! I feel my scan is so far away we are thinking of getting a private one for reassurance, even though it will cost £105  compared to a first tri scan for £70 - and I only want to see the heartbeat and know baby is alive. It's a lot of money.

Re folic acid I was only taking that and not a pregnancy vitamin so I've stopped and am just taking vitamin D now, and will start taking calcium later (it helps with childbirth pain as well as bone growth). Obviously I'm taking my aspirin and heparin daily too, for my blood clotting disorder.

  • Thanks for the eBay rental advice re the Doppler... It's £10 for a month... Will wait a few days watching some 2nd hand auctions.

My midwife did let me listen to the heartbeat at my 18 week appointment, I asked though. Plus I guess since after the Amnio I really really did need the reassurance I hadn't m/cd.

I'm still on 7 pills a day. Midwife was frustrated that loopy consultant hadn't added half of them to my green book! Letter came last week for next consultant appointment and I'm getting worried already.

Hello!! Please may I graduate from the 0-12 week thread to this one? Bit of background, a sort of unplanned pregnancy, not trying not preventing. Found out Saturday before Xmas. Had a bad ish bleed last week so got sent for a scan where we found a happy baby with a heartbeat and was dated 11+2. Had my normal 12 week scan today and was moved forward to 13+3 :j. Bleeding stopped towards the end of last week and have had brown discharge since then but it's getting better. Sorry I don't know how to do colours!:

Hi cmace2, nice to hear your bleed was nothing too bad (I still lurk on the -12wk thread). Welcome to this thread.

I've updated list with yourself and colours as it's nice at a glance to see whose in which 'team'. (go advanced edit, they are 4th button on top row of options, but I cheat & just copy last post and edit as usual).

Also I got a letter pushing my 20wk scan back to 19th February, so I'll be 21+3 :(

    Hello ladies, another newbie here!

I had my scan today, dated me at 12&2 and my due date is now 19th August - same as CreditCrunch :)

I am a little worried though as have a possible antibody in my blood waiting to hear back from my midwife tomorrow to discuss it.

I ended up having my booking bloods taken again today anyway by hospital as my doctors have apparantly sent them to the other hospital I didn't want to use..... Otherwise I might have got a answer today but no records of bloods for me at my hospital!!!

Really hoping its nothing serious that could harm baby or me. :o

  • Hi ladies, can I join you as well.

I've been lurking over on the under 12 week board but due to some pretty horrendous hyperemisis I've not really posted. I've been admitted once at new year and rehydrated and with the help of meds I'm just about managing now, however I still cant eat any food without throwing up so I've been quite worried and pretty much housebound since Christmas as almost any kind of movement makes me sick.

I had a bit of bleeding early on and had a scan at 8 weeks where we discovered I'm having twins!!! With 3 children already that was a bit of a shock. Anyway I had my 12 week scan today and considering I'm surviving on 6 slices of toast a day the babies were fine and they've brought me forward 5 days so I'm now 13+1 with a due date of the 13th August.

I can't do the list on my ipad so could someone add me please. I don't have a next scan date yet but I'll be having them every 4 weeks.
