Haha it's actually not stupid because the othe day I realised that at 24 weeks I must be 6 months pregnant, but then I got really confused as surely this must mean I'm due to give birth in 3 months, but I've still got 4 months to go!!!
So the answer is I don't know but I must be as stupid as you......
Hopefully someone who knows their stuff will come along and teach us soon! Our first baby due 25th May 2014 :T

Me and my husband had an argument about this when I was 5/6 months. It's because there is not exactly 4 weeks in a month, it's 4.33!First baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140

that is exactly why I'm asking! I worked it out like I had another 4 months to go but iv actually got more like 5! I was so confused haha.
becca me and my OH were having a big discussion over it too! that definitely makes sense that there's not exactly 4 weeks in a month ha.0 -
I think with babies ages they class 26 weeks as being 6 months old - so I would say you are 5 months at around 21ish weeks and then 6 months at 26 weeks.
Is so confusing when you are always told you are pregnant for 9 months when in reality it is nearer to 10!Expecting Baby No 1 - 20/06/14 - Team Yellow!0 -
Yeah when my best friend was pregnant she told me that pregnancy lasts for ten months and I was like 'uh huh' thinking secretly she was making things up as she went along, lol, but actually she is right. It's all very strange and confusing. I just tell people weeks when they ask me, and if they ask me what that is in months I'm just sticking with 6 months.....Our first baby due 25th May 2014 :T

And, of course, you are two weeks pregnant before you ever actually conceive, as they count from the first day of your last period! Which is pretty silly, thinking about it....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

I'm so confused now
I've only just really got my head around what being x + 5 is... And it took me ages to grasp being 2 weeks pregnant before conception.... And I'm still confused about the LMP due date being different to the Scan predicted due date... So I'm now totally baffled!
I'm 19 + 2 today, that'll have to do.Please forgive the badly spelt alias... I am a long time contributor who needed to reclaim anonymity for health/job related posts.0 -
