Just home from the scan and the sonographer said everything was looking good. :j

The baby's growth was just under the average range on all the charts. She was a really nice lady and showed us everything - all the little bones, kidneys and even brain ventricles! It took ages as the baby wouldn't move into profile so we had to walk around and then pop back after she had seen a couple more people, but we got there in the end. My guts are sore from all the prodding she did to try to get the baby to turn

I'm not sure if our hospital tell the gender or not, as we didn't ask and she didn't mention it either, so we are officially team yellow. I feel so relieved, it felt like an age between the 12 and 20 week scans. I can't believe that will be the last one.

Derby, so chuffed for you, that's just the kinds of sensations I felt (although later for me). Hope you're not too stressed out with work - hugs.

Alias - your poor hips, I hope you're feeling better soon.

Robots, sorry to hear of the upset with your friend and OH. Sometimes I think people don't 'get' it that it's special news. It's so sweet that the baby is in your friend's wedding picture though!

Derby - that's so nice to feel movement so soon. And you described it well... I'm always wondering if it's my guts or the baby!

Thanks for letting me rant. I didn't manage to fall asleep till after 4.15 am, but woke up feeling less upset. I think I've put it behind me. He's an idiot, and husband wasn't supportive, but there's nothing I can do about it now.

had a phone call from the scan department before asking me to change my scan from Wednesday afternoon to tomorrow night, because they're going to be really busy on Wednesday. I'm so desparate to change it but I'm working tomorrow night! so impatient

Oh firey what a pain oh well after tonight it'll only be one more day at least!!

Another sleepless night for me I'm afraid blooming hip pain!! I shall be removing the hip myself if the physio tomorrow morning doesn't do anything for me!!

this might sound like a daft question...but when you are 20 weeks pregnant, are you 5 months pregnant?! might be the stupidest thing iv ever asked!
