My hubby gets quite down a few days after a binge drink, he gets a cold as well but when I tell him it's because of the booze up he doesn't want to believe me. He doesn't drink too much these days cos it has dawned on him a little that he will suffer the consequences (his own health problems not my wrath!) I have been known to go to the cinema by myself if friends weren't free and switch my phone off so he can see it's not nice when the OH disappears without contact!
Good idea, go window shopping and maybe have a hot choc or something in a coffee place for a while with something to read.

that sounds a nice idea. I'm also going to have lunch by myself :D Will nip into a cafe or something, may aswell treat myself.

    Hi ladies,

thankyou for the congratulations on team blue. I am really glad we found out, I didn't want to at first but DH did and it sort of grew on me! kicking myself for forgetting to ask the hospital for a MatB1 form....I can never get hold of my MW and I don't see her for another 4 weeks. Do I have to hand it into work 15 weeks before EDD or 15 weeks before I want to go on mat leave? confused.

Other halfs eh? My DH had a few on Thursday night.....hence hangover from hell yesterday when we had the hospital scan and then a family meal at my parents etc I don't know why he does it to himself! On the plus side, he has just put the cot together and done a few other jobs so he is back in the good books!!

My back is really bad today, going to have to pester the doctor for physio...it so sore when I walk/move. apart from that, I am still sleeping all night (had a spell of waking at 4/5am), pains in tummy have eases, not had swollen feet for a few days but I can not eat greasy food....my bacon buttie came back up yesterday :-( maybe a good thing to stick to fresh healthy food!

OH returned home at 2pm with...'breakfast' for me... a greggs. I didn't eat it in protest but when he fell asleep I ate it lol. I am less angry but won't tell him that ;)

His mate isn't so lucky... basically his fiance just upped and left him yesterday, saying she's had enough and just doesn't want to be with him no more, so not looking good there but hopefully they will reconcile...

OH now snoozing... i'm bathed, freshy pyjamas on and eating toast waiting on the chinese opening !

Does anyone else get hunger nausea/wind ( of the burpy kind) ? If I'm hungry I sound like a pig with all the burping !!

Went on a work night out last night - me and my pregnant colleague were planning on leaving early, however ended up being the last ones standing as all the ones drinking were dropping like flies. This sober lark isn't too bad after all! I was the only one who got chatted up on the night out too - although his face fell when I told him I was pg, bless him!! Least it made me feel like I must have got to the blooming stage!!! :)

I went out last night too & was the last one standing at 1am! Load of lightweights ;)
