Welcome Robots :) I hope that you are okay, and can only repeat what others have said-feel free to post whatever you like x

I was also wondering about mrs tm today, I hope she is okay.

I was out looking at prams today, but I'm not sure that the one I really like will fit in my boot :( I will go and measure the car properly tomorrow as trying to do it in the dark and rain is silly :)

Mary, I hope you seek the help you need.

Mamas and papas said they'd let us try a buggy in our boot before buying.
  • Hello ! I'm moving over here from the under 12 weeks thread. Had my 12 week scan on friday when i was 12 + 2. All was well, baby was beautiful and healthy :) so happy ! Still can't believe how lucky we've been that all's going so well. Looking forward to getting to know you all xX Pomme

I'm planning on going in to the Glasgow Pram Centre over the next couple of days- I think they will let me try it in the car, thanks
  • Hello ladies,

Can I join in please? 18 + 2 today, due on 29th May, which is my birthday, ds's birthday is 31st May so could be an expensive time!

My 20 week scan is 10th of January, I have a cot (no mattress) and a strelliser, best make a list!!

I'm hoping to join this thread for advice, moans and giggles......I'm not going to use my first post with you to say what I think about what I have just read though...

Anyway, I look forward to chatting.
  • Congratulations pommeverte! X
And welcome cheeseaddict - im due 30th may so similar dates. Scan 8th jan - starting to wind myself up about it now. (Ignore last 3 pages or so - except pram info!)

Argh Samtoby I do hope you come back asap and do tell us about your scan; for me you are the diamond in this thread and I always read your posts for wit and wisdom. The situation with marywooyeah has sent all us hormonal pregnant women into a frenzy, and now I think we need to get this thread back to normal, as a first time mum I've no idea what I'm doing and need your support!!!

Welcome to all the newbies, cheeselover your name says what I am right now can't get enough of chesse and crackers! Just realised my due date (15th June) is fathers day, how cute it would be if he/she arrived on time!!

    15+6 x
  • Hello ladies, I'm joining you from the <12 weeks thread. I'm 12+3 today. I've not had my 12 week scan yet (it's on New Years Eve) but I have had 2 scans already due to heavy bleeding and everything was fine and apparently the little bean was a wriggler, so I'm sure all will be well on Tuesday too.

This is my 2nd pregnancy, we have a DS who will have turned 3 a few weeks before this one is due. According to my dates I'm due on 9th July, but from the 2 earlier scans I might be pushed back 3 days. Can't believe I'm almost a third of the way through already, it's going so fast!

    welcome pommevert, cheeseaddict and aquamarinemonkey

thanks for mentioning when Father's Day is sunshine, I'll need to get my thinking cap on as our wee munchkin will be here a couple of weeks before then-I foresee me crying in the card shop with a brand new baby trying to choose a card! ;)
  • Oh gosh this is getting so bad that I'm starting to hope it's a wind up or attention seeking. Sorry if that upsets anyone and this thread is meant to be supportive but you can't seriously come on here and start to openly talk about having your unborn child adopted just because it's the 'wrong' sex and then come across as shocked when others react 'judgementally'.

I think possibly the poster in question might want to think about taking a step back from this thread for the sake of their own stress levels as well as others, until they have decided what to do. It seems to be getting to the point where it's driving others away and that's really not fair.

Samtoby bless you please come back and talk through your feelings, we here to listen and I hate to think of you and others having to avoid the thread :( xxx hugs xxx

  • Just adding this to say apologies I was one page behind everyone else - didn't mean to dreg any stress up with my rant just then!!

Welcome to the newbies and like someone else quite rightly said, please let's get this thread back to how it is intended, for support and advice xxx
