Pregnancy is one of those times where time goes really fast and really slow at the same time!

After the amazing realisation yesterday that i could have baked camembert because the cooking kills the nasties :j:j we went to our local last night and ordered just that! It was yummy :-)

Just need to find a pregnancy friendly pate that doesnt taste like feet for christmas!

    Hope everyone is well today

I think I've read that it's fine to make your own pate from scratch, although I think we're meant to avoid liver because of too much vitamin A. Maybe it's that you can make your own alternative/veg/fish pate, as at least then you know it's made safely without listeria.

This link is helpful about foods to avoid and, importantly, why.

    hi everyone,

I have been a poorly bean for the last few days. I have toncillitous. After having a sickness bug earlier in the week it all got a bit much and I had a breakdown in the fashion of a good old cry yesterday.

I called the Dr as I have not really eaten properly all week and I am so tired as well as my painful throat. They sent a Dr out to my home as they didn't want me to drive. Dr came and checked me over and said my throat was very sore, inflamed and red. The Dr was finding it hard to see what medication I could take but I have some now and feeling a tiny bit better today as my throat doesn't feel so swollen.

I have the midwife Thursday so hopefully will be better by then.

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

    Hope you feel better Sam.

No offence but after what's happened recently I am desperate to get off this thread now! One day to go.

Just doing some online shopping & might go to asda to get the bounty pack.

Sorry to hear you're feeling poorly :( hope you feel better soon now you've got some pills!

Not too much here to report, have been feeling a lot more energetic and less 'pregnant' today. Brought some muslins today from primark, there are some pretty decent cheap things in there. Going to check out the 20% off at kiddicare tomorrow! Luckily we've got a kiddicare 10 minutes away from us.

Claire16c sorry to hear you're feeling a bit stressed, I know how you feel I've given the thread a little space for a few days as I felt I didn't want to add to everyone's depressed states any more than I already was! :( Feeling better for it though, trying to stay positive, got my midwife appointment in a week and a half which I'm looking forward to, and OH and I have officially started looking for a house so that's a bit scary and exciting all at once!:T

Hope everyone else is ok :)

    Hi all,

had a good day today finishing the Christmas shopping in Glasgow, that's it all done now :) I have a really sore left hip now though.. it's painful to lift my leg and when walking it feels like it clicks, hope it's just from walking around too much.

Yeah it's just too stressful right now MSA!

On a good note I got the bounty pack, it had a small white bath hooded towel & 2 little baby hats from asda! Plus sachets of washing powder and dishwasher tabs.

DH also chose 2 very cute baby jumpers in Asda & got a friends baby a present.
