Mary - we had severe issues with me from endo, pcos and massive adhesion's and had been due to have IVF after 3 years of trying. Same with us I was 15 weeks when I found out. That is so similar. Its such a blessing and a miracle. Your only a few days less than me. How are you feeling? x0

Ouch! That does sound tough, at least you didn't havem to go through ivf in the end though
I'm ok thanks, I've been trying to lose weight but hitting a bit of a plateau so going to have to try extra hard next week! Felt a fair bit of kicking this week and my son keeps tickling me saying he's tickling the baby! Melts my heart
Havenyou had any kicks yet? Xxx0 -
Thanks everyone just wanted to see who might use them - I just get a shock at home much nappies are and it might be worth using washable nappies. I need to research and know what I am doing as I am very unsure on it all.
Some Councils give funds back if you use reuseables but ours does not

I just realised it's my last four days on this thread
I'm 23+3 today! Lovely but it's no nice here I don't want to move on!
Had a bit of a stress weight gain wise over the weekend but I'm trying not to think about it, having lost so much weight (almost 5st) this time last year I know I can do it again but hopefully won't have as much as that to lose!
Work today then I have a day of annual leave tomorrow, going Christmas shopping and hoping to finally get a new tree - only got three more presents to get for my mum/brother (dad is sorted) and then bf to sort.
Unfortunately bf got himself a ps4 on Saturday then found out it isn't backwards compatible at the moment (yeah thanks for that Sony!) So I need to cancel a pre order I have with Game before Thursday which is the release date....means I have more money for other gifts but no idea what to get him :-(************************************

claire - congrats on your graduation! hope the rest of the pregnancy is a bit smoother for you
samtoby - are you feeling any better yet? I'm desperate to feel baby move too.
hello to the newbies and hope everyone else is ok. no real news to report here other than need to do some more clothes shopping!.0 -
Claire congrats and good luck, hope to see you on the other thread around the end of January time!!
Samtoby we aren't using reusable nappies, it sounds awful but OH and I really don't like the idea of them and we would much rather use pampers/similar disposable ones instead. I would love to use them as i like to be environmentally friendly but on top of everything else to worry about when baby comes I don't want to have to worry about washing nappies!
We are just going to do stuff like stock up from Costco to try and keep the nappy price down. Also my friends baby has outgrown some of hers so she's got some unused packs which she's giving to us. And I'm going to breastfeed so I'm saving money on that which means I feel less guilty about spending more money on nappies!
Rachel6188 welcome and many congratulations to youI too have Endo although haven't been through anywhere near as much as you by the sounds of it. Hope everything stays ok for you and you have a lovely healthy baby at the end
We went to kiddicare yesterday to get some stuff in the 20% off. I still don't like it in there though maybe it's just the croydon branch. It annoys me how on their adverts and magazines everyone is so smiley and willing to help, then when you get in there you literally can't get anyone to help you for love nor money. Have been in there 3 times now and every single time the staff have been dismissive and unhelpful towards us. A bit annoying really as I don't know anywhere else where you're able to try out so many prams before you buy as I would quite happily go somewhere else if I could find somewhere.
Anyway we did get a tray for our bumbo seat, some muslins, pregnacare, breast pads, maternity pants (shudder - they look truly awful!), 4 medium storage boxes and 3 large storage boxes all for £30 which was quite good.
15 weeks + 1 day today!! Can't believe how fast the last 3 weeks have gone?!!Our first baby due 25th May 2014 :T

When with your first baby do you usually start to feel baby move? I can't wait!
I also read that baby can now hear our voice etc. I drove home from work today with Eminem up full blast and when I got home I remembered and felt a bit guilty that I had just deafened by baby!! Are there any rules about avoiding really loud music whilst pregnant or is that a little bit ridiculous? Our first baby due 25th May 2014 :T

I've read it's anytime from 15 weeks, but with a first baby 18-22 weeks is completely normal too - can't wait!.0 -

There are loads of videos on line about what babies can hear, I've done a bit of stuff with ante natal clients at work about it, it is fascinating. I'll try and dig out some links about it when I'm at work later in the week0 -
