Last year I got a text saying please book your flu jab from the surgery so I must have been on a list for it I guess.

Thanks, will give them a ring later and find out, haven't heard anything.

I'm watching ' The Midvives' from the other night ( last one in the series) and the woman on it is REALLY annoying me, ignoring the medical advice and being (imo) very rude/childish. I hope I don't end up like that !!!

When you have lost, or nearly lost in this case, a full term baby because of medical negligence your trust in 'professionals' dwindles a little bit.

was that the case with that woman ? I missed the start of it just saw it from when she discharged herself against medical advice. Then when they were telling her she had to have a section she refused it for an hour before agreeing.

TL I know I'm just impatient!! :-) I know I should be thankful, a short easy appointment means there is nothing to be concerned about with bean.

twigpig I'm the same, all I want is crisps! Need to get back into better habits. I went off yoghurt's and fruit when I was really sickly.

con I also had a text off the doctors surgery. They're doing Saturday clinics at our surgery to get everyone through as easy as possible.

Is it a painful jab ? :( I hate needles, i'm not too bad with getting blood taken but hate getting things injected in!

Just a normal jab. Not like tb or rabies jabs which hurt!

It's not a bad jab, although my arm aches afterwards usually.
I usually get it done at work which is nice and convenient, sadly they won't give it to pregnant women in the office so I need to get round to phoning the Drs, fun!
