At our hospital it was £5 per photo!!
You pay at a cashpoint type thingy before you go in. Although how you're supposed to know this if no one tells you I don't know! So we ended up getting our first photos for free!
Then at the nt scan the machine wasn't working, so we got those free. Although we then paid for the photos prior to the anomaly scan, as she couldn't get a clear shot we've been told to keep the voucher in case we get another scan.

So in all, £10 for 10 photos so not too bad!

Sounds like a good haul con. My friends all seem to be having no2 so nothing to donate as such, and my brothers ex gave all her baby stuff to her sister.

Apart from a few stretchy pains I think I'm being lucky. So many of you seem to have horrible aches, pains etc.... Hope you're all resting up and not trying to over work yourselves.

Hi scamp, must be exciting time for you. My mum hasn't bought anything for our bump yet, your daughters v lucky! Although the mil bought a cute home knitted cardigan she saw at a sale at work.

Yep defo a good haul and all in fantastic condition. Don't think my brother is planning anymore plus they are selling their house and have viewers this week so clearing out the clutter :)

  • Morning all,

We have our name we think, bar any last minute changes of minds!

Baby stuff is starting to add up, my parents are reluctant to buy much until little one is here (to ensure fit and suitability and get us things others haven't - although mum is buying baby's first 'teddy'), bf's mum is crazy though - she gives us something every week that she's picked up (nothing major like this week was a pair of dummies - although I'm not a massive fan of dummies!) and we usually get a 'I made this this week for her' which is a hat or knitted cardi or outfit she's 'just knocked up'. It's nice but trying to drop hints to slow down and allow us to get some of the mundane everyday bits!

More little flutters from baby which is lovely, more day time feelings too as opposed to just evening/4am!

Other news here, bf has just left home to go to the airport to fly to Prague for a tournament so he's away until Sunday night, then Monday him and his mum are going to Trafford Centre Christmas shopping and Tuesday he has a meeting with the sponsors I got him! So busy busy busy here! All nice though and next Friday we have been given some free VIP tickets to a charity concert and after party with the likes of Heather Small! So should be a nice night out (not too late though!) but on the Saturday it's off to Southport for a game...now I'm not really allowed to ref or do mechanics stuff I think I will take some of my Christmas sewing/design project stuff to do whilst there...and loads of food!

That's nice you've been feeling more movement lushlivesaver.

I started getting feelings at 17 weeks, now she seems to be getting into a bit of a pattern & two nights ago I could actually see my stomach moving with the kicking! Yesterday it was quite strong & ticklish! She also loves kicking around 11pm when I'm going to bed :)

I are some really sweet costco birthday cake on Monday night & wow was she kicking then lol! So that's one way to get movement!

I don't feel kicking when I'm walking - only when I'm sitting or lying but sometimes when I walk the baby moves right to the front, I can feel what must be her back or butt and it's really hard to walk! She's always on the right side too, my stomach goes a bit lopsided, although felt a few movements on the left at night recently.
  • Morning all!

Had my 16 week appointment this morning, the midwife told me that in my area the guidelines say they don't listen for the heartbeat until after the 20 week scan (as people panic if the heartbeat cannot be found) - she seen my disappointment so said 'ok as your a skinny minnie we will have a go as I should find it easily'

So I got to hear it :):):) .... and yes, i cried again lol
  • Morning Folks

I've been reading most days but havent had time to post, so congrats on any scans or newbies I've missed.

I'm 19 weeks today and have been feeling what I can only describe as like twitching the past couple of days - is that how some of you have felt first movements? It's likely something else but I like the idea of it being my little wriggler :)
