9 year old girl sharing bed with dad

It's a 2 bed roomed house, so there is no need to share. What age do you think it's not alright?
My daughter is 15 and we still share a bed occasionally if we fall asleep watching a film or have been talking.
I know I'm female so it's a mum-daughter scenario, but I don't feel it should be different for dad-daughter.Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0 -

You live your life for yourself, not for the neighbours.
I didnt mention neighbours did I? Sometimes "friends" can stick their oar in. As weve seen on this thread already.0 -

You've just made me choke on my grapes!0 -

Brilliant mental imagery! Love it.0 -
I changed my mind - so deleted the post.
Suffice to say that abusers don't act like this man did.0 -
There's something wrong with you thinking there's something wrong. That said, in his place I'd be looking for a futon or sofa bed (but he may not have room).
If you'd have said that to me about one of my daughters, I'd probably have punched you.0 -
My stepdaughter's 19 and neither of us would have an issue sharing a bed with her if it came to it. I'd draw the line at sharing with my 24 year old stepson because he snores like a water buffalo! In fact I'd put DH and stepson in the same bed, and sleep elsewhere in the house - the two of them together could wake the dead. As for morning glory - I don't allow that here"Save £12k in 2019" #120 - £100,699.57/£100,0000

Whats more disturbing OP is your imagination.
I dont see any problem with it and as others have said you are lucky you were just laughed at.0 -
How dare you feel you had the right to pass comment!
Do you think he is a !!!!!phile?
We are becoming such an idiot of a society, between health and safety madness and the peado hysteria that is unfounded, our children can't move or learn their own risk reading skills. Far more dangerous than stranger dangerLife is short, smile while you still have teeth0 -
Have to agree with the majority on here chips sorry: it's attitudes like yours that cause problems, with tittle tattling and suspicion and innuendo. My friend's husband had to sleep in a double bed with their daughter (10) last year when the hotel they booked at messed up their booking. My first thought (and question to her) was 'jeeez how did she sleep through his bear-like snoring?!' Not; ewww, that's just wrong and sinister.
PaulineB (post number 8) ... I kind of agree, but only because of nosey, trouble making stirrers ...
And yes, would the OP say the same/think the same if it were the mother. Men?! I feel a bit sorry for them sometimes, some people think every man has the potential to be a sex pest!0
