There was no specific E-mail with your personal entitlement on it, which I suspect is why some people are still confused as to wether they got shares or not.

so I'd hang on to them
:rotfl:
They might also hit £3.50 by the close of business - unlikely but probably as valid a guess as yours.0 -
Yes, it lets you setup your bank details no problem, but when you choose to sell you shares it then asks if you want paying by BACs or Cheque, I got the meesage about the cancelled cheque at this point.
Did you get passed this point and proceed with the sale?0 -

She called up to ask where her email was, got told she wouldn't hear until the 21st as it was a certificated holding not a nominee account.
They transferred her to someone to try and sort it as it's definitely not what we selected but spent so long on hold she had to hang up and go back to work...0 -
Yes there is. You are the one confused. You should have received an email with your entitlement.

I think brokers are obliged to take steps to ensure that bank accounts are confirmed as correct and valid for the person wishing to use them.
Something to do with protecting you (and them, and the banks) from fraud.0 -
Why is everyone so eager to sell.
I thought shares were a long term investment. Or at least that's what keeps being bleated on here0 -
I have only had two emails, one with a share offer number and one that links back to the government website stating that if you asked for < 10k of shares then you get 749.1 worth otherwise you get nil.
I have not had any emails indicating what I have been given or how much of a refund I am entitled too, I asked for 1k originally.
Anyone else get an email confirming what they will be refunded and what they were allocated?Yes there is. You are the one confused. You should have received an email with your entitlement.
