hi all, been MIA for a few days!
SFD 7/20
Toiletries- £3.92/10
Food- £75/80
Food bank- £0/3
Lunches- 13/22
Extra earnt- £107/100
Social events- £35.30/75
Gym visits- 3/20
did a big food shop yest. dont think i will be able to keep in food budget as very hard to knock £20 off when its only £100 to start with! plus i generally went over the £100 every month so if i manage to keep under £100 i will be happy
was pay day yest so transferred all extra to debt account. i am remortgaging atm and at a really late stage they have now requested i clear my cc  was really annoyed as was assured by broker they would not make it a condition of offer and as a result i switched to a lower LTV which meant i have to pay approx £1200 off my current mortgage on completion. i prob wouldnt have done that if i knew i had to clear cc. so had to borrow money off bank of m&d to clear itit was around £4100 and i borrowed £3.5k so paid around £600 off this morning. now need to save the £1200 up then start paying back dad

Blah! Feel like I have lost the plot a bit. Can't seem to organise myself enough to get a SFD. Still have to remind myself that this is my first month of this MSE adventure and all budgets are intact. Inspiring to read everyone's posts and helps me be determined to improve. Bring it on November!!;)Make £10 a day Jan £0/£3100

Hi all!
Been MIA for a while, as I have had a stressful week at work. Have only spent on fruit and veg that needing replenishing in the main. On wednesday, was fed up and fancied cake, but a work colleague bought some in for her birthday, so that saved my pennies, lol. I did however buy some whoopsies angel slices down to 51p this week. This weekend will probably be a non spend. Good luck everyone and keep up the good work.:T:A Your Always in my heart, you never ever will be forgotten-9/9/14:heart2:0 -

Made some humous for snacks at work. Dont we'll do much else today apart from cleaning. It's just me and Ds this weekend an d the weather is horrendous.

Ok, this challenge is sooooooo good!
I suddenly thought today, ok, let's look at the tv package that I have, see if I can make any changes. I'm a bit of a TV addict so when I first got the package, have to have it due to no aerial reception, I got the largest package I could.
When I checked the channels I get today, half of them I have never ever watched, or ever will. So I looked at the next size down, and the next one.
Decided on the M+ package. Rang up to downgrade and I've just been given a TIVO box and an extra 10 gig or meg on my broadband, result! and i save £20 a month.
thank you very muchlyFeb NST #4

See I can be nice sometimes..:rotfl:
Hurrah :j just catching up from my week away and came across this little gem. That means then I had 7 SFDs while away? The money spent on holiday was budgeted for (I saved all year for it) and I came in at £100 under budget.
Will go and catch up and work out where I am at now, looks like SFDs will now be 12, and today and tomorrow will be too :TDF as at 30/12/16

NSK if I post items sold on eB4y and it only costs the amount the buyer paid for postage, and I don't spend anything else that day, is it a SFD?
I've sold another item for £22.36 on eB4y, so after fees I reckon I'll get about £17LBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

Wow! Lots of posts to catch up with.
Reporting in with 12 SFD so far. I have had a few fails though. I decided on Thursday I needed to go the city and get some [STRIKE]cheap[/STRIKE] reasonably priced Christmas presents from 'The Works' and then do a food shop.
I decided to walk saving £4.20 on bus fare, I got 10 minutes down the road and realised I'd left my T*sco £3 of a £30 shop vouchers at home. I walked back, then decided I would save time by getting the bus after-all, so that was £4.20 spent, fail. I then spent £25.95 in 'The Works' which included 6 books for me, fail (although some were as cheap as 50p and a £1). I also got my brother a book and dvd set, then realised on the way home I already had this years Christmas present for him ( which cost me less than £2), fail, oh well his birthday is in March or there is next Christmas.
I then went to A*da, followed by T*sco but for the life of me couldn't spend the required £30 to get the £3 off (mainly because I am defrosting my fridge so all chilled and fozen food was out. I only spent £23.30 in T*sco which in a way is a saving from the £27 I could have paid out. However, I am still a few points short of £15 of T*sco coupons for my Christmas shop, fail. 'The Works' shop has taken me over my miscellaneous budget by £7 fail again.
I also need to crack on with making some money, I haven't logged on to Swagbucks or my survey site in a while. I also need to put a high value item on gumtree, but worried about selling on there, would rather ebay but don't want to lose £s to the fees. Although I did 4 extra hours at work on Friday as I had some training and a meeting, must remember to put that on my time sheet.
I have a lot of shifts coming up, from tonight I have 3 in a row, 2 nights off, then 4 in a row, then 3 nights off, then 5 in a row(these are going to be hellish, no they are not, yes they are, no they are not!). I am going to try to have a positive attitude as this will be the last time I do 5 in a row ever, it's what I need to pay my loan off a year early. Once the loan is gone I can pay my CCs off without having to nearly kill myself doing ridiculous shifts, I will have more of a life again!Debt-Free day 30th September 20140 -
SFDs: 9/20
Food budget: £350.99/£350

Didn't have tom puree for the dinner I was making and DH said he would go get some but I said no and used ketchup instead therefore keeping my intended sfd.0
