Had a mixed day today.
On the positives, I took lunch to work, didn't eat out and am within my petrol and misc budgets. Also Am4zon paid out £23.57 for 4 books I sent them on their trade-in system
But it was an unexpected spend day as OH ran out of petrol on the way to work and has ran out of money too! Had to lend him £20 which will hopefully get him to work until payday. Luckily I had a contingency fund (something told me this would happen!) so he owes the contingency fund on payday.
Hoping for 2 SFDs this weekend. Don't intend on going anywhere or doing anything, except visiting family, so no need to spend and hopefully they will feed me
On the meals topic. We alternate cheaper (meat free) meals and meat containing meals e.g. sausage and mash one day but pasta and sauce the next etc. We both love meat but find it too expensive to buy for everyday.LBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

Pleased to check in finally with SFD 8. Hoping for double figures soon. It's pay day today & I wasn't completely skint!
Had a bit of a weird day yesterday was about to post last night feeling all smug cos although I'd had a sendy day I'd got DS's final Christmas pressie & it had nearly £20 off it i was thinking it was nearly a YS item. Just as I was typing I had a horrible feeling in my tummy... I'd bought it for the wrong console:mad:. I felt like a total idiot (almost as bad as the time I took ipad to be fixed & it just needed to be switched on!) not only that it was in a shop on the other side of city & DS was a bit suspicious yest so would be even more if there were 2 secret visits. Then Mr Beebop stepped in called the local shop who had it at full price but explained so I swapped it whilst he used the tenner we made yesterday selling very well used clothes & broken toys to get a clothes rail for pre-loved sale next week. I pretended to stay in the car only to creep into the toy shop when they weren't looking & swap. Phew!
Getting all stuff priced for next Sat, my goodness DS had a lot of clothes when he was wee he outgrew everything so quickly. His poor wee sis seems to get nearly a full year out of stuff so hers is pretty much for the rag bag. So many toys too, hopefully should reach the £90 we need. I know newbies don't need to take part but we had it booked anyway. DH seems to think we're on the Apprentice!
Wedding anniversary tomorrow, I've asked for him to get us a better deal on TV , broadband & phone as opposed to the charm he was wanting to buy! Going to the judo open as a family instead of out for a Sat night dinner in town, we might stretch to a wee fish supper, it is 11 years after all.
Sorry this was so long. Have a lovely evening.

Interesting day at work today. Found out they were short-staffed tomorrow so have offered to work. So that's a second extra shift this month which means I have definitely made £100 this month.
Back to today... I have achieved another no spend day which brings me to 13/20.
Have had to increase my "bring food to work" total as I am now working an extra shift but I also took my lunch to work today so that is 10/14.
Apart from having a disaster with the budget, I am managing the other bits quite well. I think it is because I enjoy the feeling of achievement that I am getting.
One small complication... I didn't realise that this was a 5 week month so might have an issue later on but hopefully not. I did say I wasn't the brightest lightbulb in the fitting.
Hope everyone had a good and has a lovely weekend.

Hello!
Busy few days here at fyggy HQ.
SFDs - 13/20. Yesterday was our treat shop on Mr Tax Mans rebate cheque. Got my bikini at 25% off. It's lovely, but wasn't a fiver in Primarni sadly. DH tried on several pairs of walking boots. Found a pair he liked. But then decided not to get them whilst we were going to the tills. Still not sure why if I'm honest. He's not good at the moment mood wise. Sorta said he didn't wanna get another pair like the pair he had as they'd not last... His last pair are a month shy of 2 years which IMO is good going for walking shoes. Also got fuel and food yesterday.
Food- £129/120. Not too upset at going over budget here. Stocked up on loo rolls whilst they're were on offer at a fiver. And I originally wanted £140 for us, but dropped it by £20 as instructed by the challenge. My budgets run 26th-26th.
Fuel - £121/120. A mere pound over!
Money making- £199/100, with £130 pending. Woo. Just sold some wheels on eB.ay which have been the bain of my life for months. Two non-payers. Hoping third times a charm, not it coming in threes!
I'm "away" this weekend staying with my friend in her neighbouring county. We're seeing a fitness and body building competition. I expect tomorrow to be a spend day. Today has been a SFD. And in other news a job I have been told to apply for has just popped up in my inbox. Winner.
NSK- you must try overnight oats. See this:
1/2 cup (40g) Porridge Oats
1/2 cup (125ml) Vanilla Yoghurt (fat-free)
2/3 cup (160ml) Unsweetened Almond milk
1 tbsp of Chia Seeds
Pinch of Cinnamon
Yummy yummy. My fave! And my kinda "cooking"Oh, just noted the yoghurt.. That won't be vegan, unless they do a vegan version? I'm a lifelong vegetarian so I ought to have some awareness. My bad.

Succeeded in having a NSD as I spent it looking after baby Grandson and going round the Park.
Had jacket potato, Piri Piri chicken and salad for dinner.
I always get to the end of the day and remember that I've not had one single glass of water. Naughty.
Funny how I can always remember to put the kettle on.
Funds are getting low now but why should I worry?
There's loads of food in the freezer/pantry and the cat is stocked up as well.
Worse case scenario is that I'll need mil. I'm sure I've got what I need.
I' going to see how far I can make this last few quid las and only buy the absoloute essentials.Good night everybody and enjoy your weekend.NSK Zombie # SFD 7/15 Food Bank £0/£5

Evening all. Checking in with a spendy day. I was hoping for a SFD but joined the lottery syndicate in work so paid £5 to that, and as it now became a spendy day I paid my teaboat money as well to save a spendy day next week.
Tomorrow could be another spendy day as I am having my eyes tested and not sure if I need new glasses. I'm also thinking of buying a new winter coat as well - if I do spend any money I will put it on the CC then pay it off next month.
I'm hoping to last until at least Monday before buying any more food. No other planned spends this weekend. Must try to get to the gym or out for a run as not done anything lately due to having a cold.
Just hope the weather stays relatively dry this weekend as have lots of washing to do, and don't really want to put the tumble dryer on or have loads of washing hanging around the house all weekend.
Updated totals are as follows:
Food - £74.11/£80
Misc - £205.92/£150:eek:
Petrol - £15.08/£50
Food Bank - £2.56/£3
Car tax - £175/£175
Money made - £28/£100
SFD - 10

NSK - yes, 75p too, I only know that because I was still using my calculator correctly at that point!
Planning a SFD today. I don't need to buy anything and I'm only going to the storage place today.
Will be baking later. Going to make some chocolate frostie cakes, I know it should be cornflakes, but I don't have any. Also going to make some peanut butter cookies and some kind of cake type things, just not sure what yet.Feb NST #4
