Hello, checking in, today was a SFD, hoping for a few more this week, its the last week until payday too. Might not work as it's a bad PMT week and my desire for chocolate and shopping might win! Am going to try my best and plan snacks and meals from stores and go to the gym to keep occupied! Going to be having a few battles with myself this week! Arghh

Morning All. I have to do some work this morning.. apparently... I shall be checking in a little later though... I blitzed by room last night of tat. Filled up a bag for shredding, two for the bin, a heap of clothes to be sorted through for "selling" or "charity", a massive bag of coat hangers, shoe boxes to chuck out, shoes to sell, a chest to give away with cushions that are pointless clutter and all four items on eBay being watched with more to come...
Phew. I am tired though...:rotfl:Hoping for an SFD... but meeting a friend later so not sure how I will get around this one..
Updates later just before I kill myself from sheer boredom. I need a new job!“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Gosh Kat, how big is your room, have you not already decluttered that three times in the last year and sold everything? :rotfl:
Today should be a SFD, might even get free tea as we're going to a kids birthday after work but might have to cook OH sth after the footie later on.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -
Thrify I am just getting super ruthless now..when the vintage dresses are listed you know I am serious...:rotfl:Books were the massive haul last time.... this time it's clothing, teacups cause I don't drink it any more and more books.. it feels good!“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Morning, well it is just about. My change in shifts has only been going for one day and I am already beat. The good part of it is that I did manage to get quite a bit done last night without people bothering me.
Yesterday was also another SFD and AFD. I am determined to make it until Friday before I have to spend again. I've already written my list out and unless I completely run out of something before then, I'm not adding to it.
I've been thinking about the food donation. I have two options. There is a local food bank so I could still buy my three pounds worth and donate that way. But, as I am doing the "Go Sober in October" I was thinking of donating the money to them instead. I know it's not a food donation, but it is for a good cause and I am saving the money by not buying alcohol.
Nothing major planned for my morning before work today. I have a bit of pottering tidying to do. Lunch is already made, I just need to remember to take my muesli bars in today!Feb NST #4

After 13 SFD I had a spend today of nappies and pull ups. I normally use cloth nappies but haven't been able to keep up with the washing due to the weather and my son seems to keep out peeing them and leaking onto his pjs at night, as does my daughter who is always soaked of a morning. I feel terrible for it and having not bought nappies for almost two years its a shock to the system! Still I am planning just to use them at nights to save on the constant pj washing. I have piles of nappies drying and washing all over the place so need to sort them out.Squirrelling away in September No 33It's not about the money, it's about financial freedom, being in control of it and living in the natural world and not a material world0

Well yesteday was a sfd, will update my sig.
Dd is unwell and being sick so is home from school, and ds may have caught it 2, its disgusting! My washing maching is on constant, so im not expecting a cheap electric bill.
Had my water bill the other day, we are on a meter as its a new build and the direct debit has gone down from £42 a month to £36. Really pleased with that.
Today will be another sfd as im not taking two sick children anywhere.
Still not bought toiletries, and still within all budgets, and i got the first child benifit payment today for baby ds, so im £40 better off than i thought. I need to have a look at my budget and how the month is going and then ill probably pay the £40 off my credit card.Still here..... but working on that!0 -
Hey peeps - sneaking back in - sorry for absence we have been on a roller coaster of a couple of weeks....
Sold house, found house, agreed sales purchases, instructed solicitors, sorted mortgage only to have the bomb dropped yesterday morning that our purchaser has withdrawn their offer. Nothing we could do - apparently they have split up!! Anyway yesterday is a bit of a blur and we are all gutted. Our house is back on the market and on we go! Bar solicitors fees I dont think it will have cost us too much so it could have been worse.
Anyway - havent been spending - have been running down the freezer - will update totals although SFDs will be a fudge. Work is manic so will try and keep up to date to the end of the month.
Love to all, LAGL xx
Hmm Petrol and food budgets up the spout it would seem too - visitors, easy meals and more fuel re house stuff. Still we will be ok - aim to reign in for the rest of the monthDebt free on the 28/05/130 -
