Hello everyone,
Nsd here,will update my sig.
Visited my nan today (free lunch!) and picked up a prescription for me and baby dragon. Prescriptions free in wales so thankfully didnt have to fork out!Still here..... but working on that!0 -
Evening all! rotten cold has knocked me a bit and I've been on the sofa most of the day. Had to venture out to take DD to and from school but managed a NSD which I'm glad of. Got to do some shopping tomorrow and try go to the laundrette and get stuff dry if the weather is ok. I won't bother if it's raining as we have to walk there and back....No point in drying clothes if they will get soggy again! :rotfl:
Planning a few stews this week so just need a few veggies and some lunch items for the week. DD keeps making a mess with yoghurt at school so need to think of something to replace it.
Made a dent in christmas presents and got some wrapped already so DD doesn't find them whilst she's snooping through my stuff. Why are 4 year olds so nosey?
Hope everyone has a great weekend! lets hope its not too chilly! xx
Goals: Save £500 for emergencies, Save £200 of Amazon vouchers for Xmas, fix my holey clothes!

Wow! You've had quite a month and come out good guns the other side though! You should be very proud! :T:T
Re the challenge and NSDs, how about you start afresh from now and as it's a third into the month aim for say 13 SFDs or less? Just a thought
That's a really good idea. Need to keep things tight as have very limited money until the end of the month - 13 SFDs sounds like a really good plan.
Need to fill up cars with fuel tomorrow but that is budgeted for so can still count as a SFD as long as no other spends sneak up on us!!!Pay off all your debts by Xmas 2014 #45£1197.48/£12,047 - 9.9%

beckyboo - Must have been hard parting with your beetle! I'm guessing you became pretty good with fixing up some of the mechanics after a while? I Love Vws!!
Do you know - I've been so lucky with my Beetle. No major problems in the time I've had it - definitely in mourning for my Beetle!!!Pay off all your debts by Xmas 2014 #45£1197.48/£12,047 - 9.9%

IVe not posted for a bit because of stupid tempremental Internet, and I just hate trying to type on iPhone! But I have been reading you all, sticking to rules and keeping budget.
I am on 9 SFDs!! I've just been so tired from new job, I've bad no energy to spend any money after that!! I realised I missed the cut off for my overtime and expenses, so won't get those until end of November pay now, grrrr!
I can't get anymore overtime until end of November, which means this won't pay until January. This leaves me ~£400 short for my target of 31/12/13. I have sorted some things to eBay, but I'm sure this will total less than £100. So back to the drawing board with that!
Anyway, enough droning! Everyone else seems to have the same angst too, but I can deflinately see solidarity is helping us all, so chin up everyone!!October Awakening: Food £20/20 Petrol £50/50 Misc £190/194.01 Extra Earnings £100/196.56 SFDs 20/220 -

Checking in Gang!
My friend is visiting as of yesterday and we budgeted £30 for the 4 days she is here. Yesterday was still a NSD, wow - and today was £40 for the weekly shop, about a fiver more than usual. We are doing very well! She bought me tea and cake today so tomorrow I will need to buy whatever treats we have... we are planning a walk at the seaside, ice cream and fish and chips. Sunday might be a walk in the hills with a picnic - which should be pretty cheap too... and we are having a lovely time. The best things in life are free!
Also sorting out my parents' 40th wedding anniversary presents for next weekend, which will be a spendy weekend again. Stolen a load of family photos from their albums from the past 40 years to copy into a lovely 'this is your life' book for them. Does anyone know where it's cheap to get photos copied? I have about 50 to copy...
