SFDs: 14/20
Food budget: £350.99/£350
Donation: £0/£3
Planned outings: 1/1 Meal out for birthday with OH (paid on voucher already)
Takeaway £19.40/£20 - Chinese to celebrate birthday with children,
Take lunch to work: 14/18
Beauty spends £2.67/£10
OK SFD on Thursday and today but spend days Friday and Saturday. DS1 and I have flu jabs tomorrow but not other spending so counting that as a SFD as DH and DS2 get their's free and it's medical so allowed under the rules.
Shopping all done on Friday and Saturday and have plenty in so planning no more spending until Friday 1st Nov. Won't make 20 SFD but first time at challenge so I am happy with double figures anyway. Totally nailed the lunches to work even with a week off (we did eat at home then with stuff we had bought it the weekly shop for lunch but I didn't count them).
Looking forward to November.0 -
Evening all. As predicted have had 3 spend days, Friday til today. Will update totals tomorrow as off for an early night as tired after my whirlwind trip to France on Friday night.
Have a good Monday everyone.0 -
SFD yesterday and today!!
Need to dip into £10 beauty spend and get eyebrows waxed!
Also desperate for a hair cut and some flat boots for work. The ones I want are £300! Maybe when I'm rich hey!0 -
Hi all sorry to be MIA. I do keep up but don't get a chance to post very often. Should reach SFD target today! First time I've managed it on these challenges, hopefully it is becoming second nature now. Can't wait for payday on Wed- hope to knock the debt down to less than 2k. So close now I can taste that DFD. Fingers crossed.
Everyone is doing so well, including the new challengers so well done all and keep it up. Thanks to NSK for a great challenge.
Kat you are so near your DFD. I hope the days are not dragging for you while you await that fantastic moment you so richly deserve. :j:j:jLook how many people you have dragged along with you on your quest. Not long now and you will be on your way in your new debt free life.
Onwards and upwards. XMFIT -T5 #420 -
Hi,
It's great to see so many doing so well with this month's challenge! :T
Kat I won't get a chance to sign in again before November 3rd/4th ~ please could you add me to the November challenge ~ thanks!0 -
Thought I get a windfall from Amazon of £20 today, but they just made an error with my gift card credit. First they didn't take an order off it but charged my credit card. Then they emptied it (£40) for a £20 order and now they reimburse £20 to my credit card for sth I ordered 4 months ago? As long as I get my 20 quid back.
Today should be an SFD. ust in work for a couple of hours and keeping my eyes peeled for the publication of the new challenge. And then at 12 off to my 20 week scan.
Have a nice dayDEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -
- Good bye fence panels....didn't want you anyway....One collapsed earlier and then heard something smash next door...oops.
Hope you are all ok! I have heard there is a lot of disruption on the trains and the commuter roads this morning! Also lots of houses without power in my area, but we've been lucky.
As always- HAPPY MONDAY everyone! T minus 3 days left of the challenge!!:coffee:

Good day to one and all. Anyone else sitting in a rather skantly populated office as people use the age old excuse of cancelled trains to stay at home. I got a bus - that's how dedicated I am. Having got to bed at 0130 from a overtime shift I pushed on home in the rain and wind last night on my morotbike to rise a few hours later to get in to work, with cancelled trains and superb diversion on the buses.
But here I am, with no boss hanging around, in a secluded corner and today, no matter what comes my way will see the publishing of Novembers challenge... HappyBeingMe - you are brave to sign your name to something you haven't read but I will put you down....
So we are pushing through and rightly marking up those SFD's.. I am so proud of you all. I have a few days left to rack up a few more so we are all quids in. My debt free day is two paydays away and I cannot wait. i also cannot wait to mark it upin my signature but we all know there is no way it would have been half as fun as it was if it wasn't for you little debt busters joinging me on the journey of my life - Whoop Whoop! :rotfl:
Right - enough jibber jabber I am off to plot, scheme, and create November....“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. :T:T:T:T What a feeling eh?.. I will be with you on that one. I could actually cry. Thursday morning I will be sat here and updating my figure to below £2k... Although no such things as fingers crossed. We WILL do this!!!“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent.
