Morning all
Did you all enjoy your extra hour? (except rosiecheeks
Hope it went quickly for you and I hope you claw it back in 6 months time!!). I feel I should be a bit more productive having been given 60 free minutes, but I'm sitting in bed with the heater on watching the F1 Grand Prix on iPlayer! Ah, some toast and coffee now before I have to think about working through my 'To Do' List!
Been keeping up my SFD run - I think I managed 16 and today is a non-spender. I still have to buy a birthday card/present over the next few days ( I was shopping yesterday with a headache so I gave up and came home giftless! I had already spend in the supermarket so I ruined an opportunity.)
I'll get my slow cooker on and make a bit of a lentil/butternut squash casserole thing going for tomorrow's dinner. Today I have a spaghetti squash with avocado and black bean to eat before yoga and a papaya/coconut smoothie at night when I get home - mmmmm!!
Fee free weekend on ebay so, once I get my energy together, I will list a few more things and then I'm off to yoga later
Can't wait to see November's challenge - I'll be 100% in with bells on!
Have a nice Sunday everyone0 -
Well today is a spendy day as just bought groceries for the week. However used mysupermarket for the first time and in addition to vouchers from Mr T have managed to save nearly £17 on my shop this week!!!:j About a quarter of the bill!! So very pleased with this.
I feel that my thinking has changed a lot this month by doing the challenge. I need to really think about things and plan better so that I can get more SFD in November.
Hope everyone is keeping warm and well during this stormy weather!Make £10 a day Jan £0/£3100 -
Hey all...
Today = SFD number 15
Pay Day for me last Friday so all of my budgets have reset for the next 4 weeks and signatures updated. I'm away for most of November and will be adding some extra spending money, amount to be confirmed.
Next month am going back to the envelope system and leaving the debit cards at home. Feel like I need to get a tighter hold on my budgeting.
No gossip - just work, eat and sleep!!!

NSD number 17 for me today.
I haven't been out apart from getting the logs in and making sure the chicken hut doesn't disappear overnight in the storm.
It's a bit windy here but nothing to shout about.
I might regret having said that but I hope you are all staying cosy and safe.
Have a nice evening.

Evening all,
This is SFD number 18 for meYay, only two more to get and 4 days to do it in
I went to ASD4 today, to take a parcel to the drop off point and collect OHs shoes (which he had paid for) and managed to come out without spending anything! I walked past chocolate and everything!
Have had a productive day cleaning, eB4ying, searching out old jewellery for selling and just done an hour or so on Sw4gbucksI am so determined to get rid of this debt ASAP, I'm getting a bit frantic/manic about it!

Gosh, well done to everyone who has hit 20 SFDs already! Very impressive!
I am on 17 sfds, with two spendy days this weekend as we spent lovely weekend staying with friends. We still only spent a small amount of money for the whole weekend and it was very enjoyable indeed, despite me being full of a manky cold, so I have no regrets. I should get 3 sfd's in Monday to Wed this week as we have everything we need in already, and so we should just squeak through!
We are amazingly on target with our predicted entertainment budget for this month, which was very low. We are actually going to put a fair whack towards the cc despite having to fill the oil tank this month too and I am in no doubt that it's because of this challenge.. thanks gang! Roll on November, I can't wait! Are you planning something super cruel for us NSK? Whatever it is, we can do it! I am also excited for OHs payday on 31st as that's when we do the big cc transfers and I can't wait to knock some totals down and update the spreadsheets! I am so happy to see other people as excited as I am about this type of activity!
Come on everyone - not long to go! We can do it! :jLBM Aug 2013 - DEBTS AS OF THEN £25,150  now: £0 :j

Ended up have a virtually SFD as forgot to get money out and just had to put £6 of fuel in DH's car to get home lol. Thing is I didn't even think about it and it wasn't really an issue so whoop whoop!Squirrelling away in September No 33It's not about the money, it's about financial freedom, being in control of it and living in the natural world and not a material world0

Had a fantastic weekend and even better, didn't go over my entertainment budget, or get too close to the maximum.
Spend day today and yesterday though, but, yesterday was planned, and today, I needed food and was too exhausted so I broke and got takeaway, hangs my head.
Shouldn't be spending anything else this week though. Roll on payday!Feb NST #4
