Do it on this thread - keeps everything together and avoids having to either cross-reference or search around the forum for the original.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Go for it - this firm are among the worst of a very bad bunch. Complain.

And do report them as well, to the BPA and DVLA as ANPR Ltd must be close to being banned. Your complaint to the DVLA and BPA by email is really simple and could make a difference in stopping this scam.

Their owner (Trev) pretended about two/three months ago that the letter from N Martin saying to 'appeal to him so he can do the POPLA appeal on your behalf' was a one-off mistake...I think he wrote to the DVLA protesting innocence.

Drop Trev in it. Email a complaint to the DVLA and BPA with a copy of that letter if you can scan it in and attach it to your email:

david.dunford@dvla.gsi.gov.uk

steve.c@britishparking.co.uk

Point out that 'N Martin' at ANPR Ltd is still misleading people deliberately about 'writing back to him' to use a POPLA code and he'll 'appeal on your behalf' and this proves that Trevor Whitehouse was being economical with the truth when he wrote to the DVLA about similar letters being a mistake, several weeks ago. Demand to know what are the BPA and DVLA going to do about this, how many sanction points must Trev be on by now? Tell them that you are disabled and ANPR Ltd nearly confused you into paying them until you discovered a helpful well-known forum.

:)

We know, we've seen it before and you really MUST report ANPR Ltd for still using that misleading letter.

It's not important that N Martin isn't real (you can bet a lot of names aren't) but what IS important for your complaint emails is that 'he' is still telling people to 'send the appeal to ANPR using this code so we can apply to POPLA on your behalf' which is utter rollocks and causes people to miss their POPLA deadline.
