You need to force your own hand here a bit. Do something definite and public that isn't easy to reverse. Are you still wearing your rings, are you sharing a bedroom, can you tell your mum you are getting divorced, even making a Facebook announcement!

It sounds like you need a push to action, but the fact is that it isn't going to come from anyone except you.

Sorry to say it, but that is a common modus operandi of many..
I had a friend of both of us, so I thought, she hid behind fixtures in a shop, rather than speak to me. Quite comical really to see her ducking and diving about, pathetic too. I realised and stood and faced her without speaking. I felt I was the better person.

A work colleague of his whom I'd fed to an extremely high standard on numerous occasions, supplied his Bacardi, his cigarettes and stay in our home, ..... cut me dead! Who knows what is told?

I don't know the answer, except to say you have sussed where it's going, I didn't. You have sussed it though, so maybe choose who your friends will be.

Not sure why you have a fear of branching out on your own, seems you have friends and work. More than a lot of women in your situation.

Never mind for now, there are some really kind people here with a lot of life experience who will help you.
