update to husband having a texting "affair"

Thanks everyone you are all so lovely.

Think main reason im still here is that im terrified to actually go, though hate being here too so can't win. Keep finding myself wishing he'd hug me and if he did it'd feel like it used to, but he doesn't even try anymore.

Christmas wise im working from xmas eve till new years day with only 1 day off (working all day xmas day and boxing day) so if im still living here, I wont be in our flat much.

Feel like I've lost all my fight at moment - guessing fact I've been ill doesn't help that.

Husband has even questioned some of my colleagues (they told me) as to whether I've mentioned anyone else to them as im behaving oddly! So know he thinks im up to something - which im really not.

So either he is trying to work out what you are planning so he doesn't get any surprises OR he is trying to sow the seeds so that he can paint you as the bad guy if it falls apart.

There is nothing so lonely as living in a loveless situation. Sharing a home with someone who basically ignores you is soul destroying.
I used to describe it as a life without companionship.

I couldn't agree more - with both of you.

Having been in a very unhappy marriage, and now living on my own, the difference is like night and day. I felt that horrid, crushing loneliness every single day when I was with my ex. Walking on eggshells. Not wanting to be at home. Feeling as if you don't even belong there.

Now I'm free and I love having my own space, it's wonderful.

Thanks again for everyone's kind words.

Went back to work today and feel a tiny bit stronger as the people I work with are mostly lovely and it took my mind off things abit.

Just wish I wasnt so scared at moment of leaving.

I really think he's trying to plant the idea in others minds that im not innocent in this, so he can get sympathy when I leave - which is just pathetic.

It's beyond pathetic, and I'm glad that you can see it for what it is.

Have faith my lovely, it will all work out for the best and I hope that you find the courage to leave. Do you have family and friends for support? xxx
