If the issue is her posting these photos on her Facebook then you can report them.
If you took the photos then they can be reported for copyright infringement, Facebook are usually pretty good at removing these.
Whether it's worth it is a different matter though.0 -
I actually don't agree with everyone saying 'don't put pictures on facebook then'. Whether you like it or not, Facebook is a huge part of the way modern friends and family interact, and they should be allowed to do so if they wish. We're not talking about semi-naked pictures of kids here, just normal everyday snaps.
Obviously you have to consider what pictures you put out there, as they could end up being viewed by a wider audience than you intended. And you also have to understand and regularly review your Facebook settings and decide who to give access. You can set things much tighter to make it hard for her to see anything - but not impossible if she has the co-operation of mutual Facebook friends. So I suggest you also look at who is on your friends list, and who you allow to see your photos via groups etc.
However - I do also agree with the poster that suggested you should be regularly sending her updates on the children's lives and photos of your choosing, because she's never going to not be their mum. And that way you may remove the motivation for her to try to access photos you don't want her to have.0 -

Facebook works like that for most people, but not for all. Sometimes people need to restrict their use because privacy is more important. Children at risk are one of those cases.
I don't think adoption is going to be a good idea - OP will just shake the hornets' nest. With this persona she projects, she may feel obliged to fight it. There is a residence order. There is a contact order of sorts. If an egg-donor doesn't want to participate in the relationship that the courts have defined then that is up to them.
Follow the usual advice - don't speak badly of the mother. Be supportive of any contact that arises. The children will work it all out for themselves.0 -

There are millions and millions of families who get by just fine without facebook, it's not a case of 'like it or not', life carries on without the need to plaster your children over the internet.
However, if you do choose to do so you can't then complain that people are seeing photos of children, that you put out there yourself.
In a situation like OP's, it doesn't matter how many restrictions she puts on her own account, if she's willing to share with just one member of the mother's family she has no way of stopping the photos being passed on, like it or not.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
