stewby re the wash tabs. I always use non bio, due to sensitive skin and have recently swapped to ALD! And haven't had any adverse reaction. Think they are about £2.59 for 20.

The last washing stuff I bought was the Lidl Formil non-bio powder, bought the big box and it lasted me over a year with no reactions and my clothes etc were just as clean as with the Persil my ex insisted on using.

Hey familylife. Of course I don't mind, the more the merrier.
    :D

I do have all the rebate things that I am entitled to, one of my old workmates went through it all with me whilst she was doing hers. Thank you for the suggestion though.
    :)

So... slept all day today and as a result dietary intake has been poor. Had a lovely supper made by OH which took me closer to the limit but it will still be complaining about my low calorie count.
    :o

    So:
    03/01 = 1199.
04/01 = 1272. (however, the can of coke put my sugar high).
05/01 = 1037. (only 1 cup of water though as I slept all day).

Spend day just for that bloody chocolate so a bit disappointed. Heading to co$tco tomorrow with my mum and then heading into the city for a hospital appointment. (Having a skin patch test to see what I am allergic too... guessing nitrile gloves as I was fine before they came on the go).
    :p

I am in no way dismissing what you are saying but I think I will stick with the fairy ones just now until my legs, abdo, etc clear up then try other brands... it has taken about a year to determine the cause. (GPs told me it was a bug, then it was my psoriosis spreading, my eczema returning, etc... and now it looks like it was the washing powder). Want to get myself looking a bit more normal before the wedding in June.
    :embarasse

Hope everyone had a great day and survive the return to work tomorrow.
    Hugs.

I agree about sticking with what you know works for the time being, for ages I could only use Persil Non Bio, it's only recently that I've found that other stuff doesnt make my skin react any more - possibly see if you can find samples advertised to try out other things on odd washes when you are ready to try others to see how your skin reacts before actually buying anything.

    Urgh... Early morning.

Hello everyone. Just need to figure out how to switch off the blooming predictive text on this thing. I feel like ripping my hair out due to it.

So... OH and I decided to do a midweek weigh-in today. It is day 4 of the diet and I wasn't expecting miracles as I ate those crisps and chocolate and drank that coke on nightshift. Not to mention the lack of exercise.
    :p

However, I have lost one whole pound!!
Rather pathetically, I am feeling a bit proud of myself.
    :o

I think, once my legs are looking a bit better, I will try other brands. I picked fairy because of the baby on the front. Figured that it would be sensitive enough for my skin too.
    :)

Hope you all have a lovely day.
    Hugs.

Good evening... Thank you very much for the kind words... hopefully it will be even more pounds lost by the time a week is up.
    *crosses fingers*

Small fortune spent today. However, it was sensible spends, kinda. Mum and I went to co$tco... tried very hard to be good and spent £39.71. However, mum is giving me £10 back so spent £29.71.

    For that £29.71 I got:
*168 fairy non-bio tablets at £14.99, approx 3 a week so should last about a year (although that is by my maths so it could be anything).
*35 bottles of water (this cost me £3.29 which is much better than £2.00 for six bottles of volvic).
    * We then spent £11.49 on 40 andrex loo rolls. (which I am splitting with my mum).
*We also got some cupcakes (£3.99) and then you have to add the VAT on.

But I think we did okay.
    :undecided

What have you all been up to today?? Anything good??
    :)

Non-money related, I went to my skin appointment and I now have a heap of dots on my back for testing what I am allergic to... judging by the itch, I am beginning to think I am allergic to everything!!
    :p

    Have lovely evening.
    Hugs.

    Evening,

Very sensible spends at Cos!co, and some good offers!

It's been my first day back at work today. Was nice to be back in a routine but I could definitely get used to staying at home, shame OH has no great career plans ;)

I walked the dogs, so have done my exercise for the day. Unfortunately, my scales have a habit of lying so I don't know how much I've lost or even if my starting weight was correct :( Oh well, if my clothes get looser then I'll know :)

Fingers crossed that your skin test gives you a definitive result :)

Sounds like a good trip to C.

I've not done much today, unless sitting with Nana so Mum could get out of the house before she murdered her counts - it's been a bad day, and has pretty much proved that the toilet obesession is Nana trying to manipulate us, Mum's going to talk to the Dr tomorrow to see if there's anything we can do/have done to stop her constantly thinking (pretending) she needs the toilet and yelling at us when she doesn't get her own way - someone suggested hypnotherapy if there's no dementia concerns.

Went for a run this evening, a little over 2.5 miles as I realised a mile in that if I did the longer route I'd be running back along the river path in almost complete darkness so used a route I've never done before and wasn't sure of the distance I'd run until I got home. Just trying to remember what I ate yesterday as I forgot to log it on mfp.

Going to weigh myself tomorrow and use that as this years starting weight to work out my next goal as I know I've put on some over Christmas as I've been so lazy exersize wise.

Back on the iPad so excuse me if stupid words appear where they shouldn't.
    :p

Glad to hear your first day back wasn't too horrendous fmess. I think it is always nice to have a routine, which isn't really possible in my job unfortunately. But I try anyways.
    ;)

Aw scooby. What a rough day you must have had yesterday but you must feel better for helping your mum have a day off?? It must be very difficult for you all with your nana being that way. Perhaps she knows herself how unwell she was and is playing on it a bit. (We get a lot of people who claim they can't wash themselves because they are sick but they were independent prior to coming in so we know they can. They just like to see what they can get away with). I guess that doesn't really help much though.
    :undecided

Diet went a bit wrong yesterday. Had a Hotdog from co$tco which was yummy. Between that and my cupcake, I was pushing to a bit. Ended up having two cupcakes over the course of the day, however did remain within calories!!
    :)

I don't know how you could wait so long fmess. I would be desperate to know if I had lost weight... I couldn't wait to see if my clothes felt different. But I think that is just cause I am impatient. I like to see results very quickly or I get frustrated. So many bad habits.
    :o

Hope you all have a lovely and productive day.
    Hugs.
