Good news on your mum
My friend had it a couple of years ago & it does take a long time to get over.
Yes, it would be good if you could go back to the team you know.

Thanks Lou
In their infinite wisdom, the NHS decided to bundle all us CF patients together in the hospitals that have dedicated CF departments. My nurse said there is still one CF patient who goes there, but she has it very mildly and only has to be seen once a year (would LOVE that!!).
So I'm basically lumbered with going to the new hospital whether I like it or not.

I'm still trying to work, but it's painfully slow. I've just managed to get up to £52 - I am persevering!! I'm hoping it's just so slow because more researchers are online trying to get some money before Christmas. Hopefully it will settle down next month. At this rate, I will struggle to get to £100 by the end of the month, but if that's all I get then so be it.
I will definitely be working harder next month - I need to be earning much more than £100.

Yay - it has been busier tonight, so I'm up to £70. That's more like it!!
I've got a busy day running around everywhere tomorrow (kids and mum's hospital appointment) so I'm going to aim for another £10 during the day and then another £10 in the evening. On Friday, I'll try for £30 and then another £30 on Saturday. That will get me up to £150, which will be all I can hope for I think.

Just got back from the hospital with my mum (she had an endoscopy) and she has a rather large stomach ulcer . They have given her some medication to heal it and she has to go back in 2 months. I think she's glad to finally be getting it treated (not that she knew she had it), so hopefully she will start to feel better and put weight on again.

Sorry to hear about the ulcer but it will hopefully respond to the medication.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. Happy December everyone :xmassmile
I only managed to earn £100 last month. That really has to change. I never seem to have any money and it's stressing me out. I'm going to aim for at least £1,000 this month to get 2014 off to a good start.
We went to see Frozen for free yesterday with my niece. It was quite a good movie - my niece loved it.
I've spent most of this morning cleaning up after our washing machine decided to break. Water all over the floor. That's one of the good things about renting - one call to the letting agent and we've got an engineer coming round on Wednesday afternoon.

Got my first £10 :j - only £990 to go
(Don't worry, I won't announce every £10 - I might have a little celebration at every £100 though)

Hospital today - and it went well :j
My lung function is up to 34%, so the doctor was happy and is leaving me in peace until 25th February 2014. Although I do have to go back at some point before then to see the physio who is going to put me on a new nebulised antibiotic which they think could help even more. Weight is 50.5kg - not so good
.
Anyway, feels like a huge weight has been lifted now I know more IVs aren't on the horizon. I really need to get sorted for Christmas, but I am skint. I've just managed to get my family Christmas cards (good old card factory). My OH gets paid on 20th, so I can get some presents then, but I want to see what I can get before then from doing surveys etc.
I'm going to work out tomorrow what I roughly need to get. I am definitely saving for Christmas next year!!

Congratulations on the Lung Function Emz...that's great news!! It will be nice to basically be left alone by the Doctors over Christmas....Good on yer!!
Have you thought about joining the "Sealed Pot" Challenge? It's basically where you put all your spare change into a Pot during the Year....and most people use it at the end of the Year to pay for Christmas....I did it this Year and raised nearly £450....so it might be worth thinking about for next Christmas...
Hope things are going okay with Work....You'll get there...I have faith in you hun xXx0
