"Come into hospital Emily......Have some IVs Emily........They'll make you feel better Emily.". Yeah right!! Without going into too many details, the end of the IVs have resulted in a very dodgy stomach for me today. I feel dreadful
. I'm hoping this won't last long and I called the hospital to say I couldn't make my appointment this afternoon. I've got to go on Friday morning instead (stomach permitting).
Thanks for the messages Lou and Buffy

Afternoon
I'm finally starting to feel more normal now. The side effects of the antibiotics are wearing off. I've got the hospital tomorrow morning and will go there after dropping my nephew off at pre-school.
Whilst I've been ill/having treatment, things have gone downhill money wise. I really need to get back into a DFW way of life so I can get things back on track.
Christmas isn't helping. I've only got my niece sorted and my mum got my sister a watch (£70) which I need to give her half for. It's also my uncle's birthday tomorrow (and OH's mum's, but she only got a card), so that cost me another £10.
Need to start making some plans.

Don't stress about Christmas.

Arrrrggggghhhhh!!! After everything I've been through over the past couple of weeks with those blasted IVs - my lung function has gone DOWN!!!!!
It's now 28%, which is the worst it has ever been. I just give up, what can I do when IVs haven't even helped? I've got to go back on 3rd December to see if it has risen again as they think I may still be suffering from the side effects of the IVs, but I don't see how I am when I'm feeling fine. Oh, and my weight has gone down too (not surprising though given a week of hospital food and the spicy side effect of the IVs).
So fed up right now

Thanks Helen and Lou :A - I'm trying to not let it get me down. Hopefully things will have improved in a couple of weeks.
I'm going to try and get back to normal tomorrow. I still haven't started work again properly, so really need to.
I spent Saturday cleaning and tidying the flat with OH and my niece came for a sleepover last night. We then went to the cinema to see Free Birds with some free tickets this morning. My niece thought it was okay - I was glad I didn't pay for it though.
