What's that saying - it never rains......?

My mum isn't well. She has to go for some tests and went for a chest x-ray yesterday, on which they found something suspect, so she has to see a specialist. They can't rule out cancer. Needless to say, she is panicking. I'm trying to stay calm for her sake, but when I'm not with her, I'm falling to pieces. I can't lose my mum - I just can't.

I'm trying to help her out as much as possible at the moment whilst she waits to hear about a number of different appointments.

  • Oh Emz....Just breathe hun....Just breathe....

You don't know anything yet....It may be nothing....If it IS Cancer it CAN be beaten and IS beaten by THOUSANDS of people every day....

Just try to breathe and I know you will still worry but TRY to stay calm if you can until you know something for sure...and THEN you can deal with whatever it is....

I'm here for you if you need to PM someone...xXx

Thanks Helen - I know you're right and that's what I've been telling my mum. But, it's my mum. I wish I could take it all from her onto myself. I'm used to being ill, I would rather it was me.

    Thanks Buffy and Lou :A.

Still no news on my mum's appointments. We've been looking after my nephew this morning (I came over to help her as he's too much for her on her own at the moment) and I think he helped take her mind off things.

I still need to start earning some money this month. Maybe this will help take my mind off things too. I have done pretty much nothing after an awful month. There are 10 days left of November from tomorrow onwards, so I'm going to track what I earn each day between now and then.

    Hello everyone

My mum has finally received her hospital appointments, they are Tuesday and Thursday next week, so hopefully we should start getting some answers soon. She is starting to feel a bit better and has some colour in her cheeks, so that's a good sign.

I have been doing some work, but it's quite slow at the moment. I am entering some competitions in between questions though. They are easier to fit in as opposed to surveys because they are quicker to do.

I've also just joined the Sun Plus website for the £1 trial. They were offering free tickets to see Frozen and I knew my niece really wanted to see it, so figured it was worth joining.

OH is taking me out for a meal tonight at a Brazilian restaurant. Not too sure about it, but I'll give it a go.
