Hi Emz
I hope for your sake that you didn't get to see too much of the match. David just wasn't playing like he can (looked slow by comparison and he normally travels round the court at the speed of light!) and Nadal hammered him. I was in a bad mood after that I can tell you:(
And no, he wasn't wearing his lime-green shirt. Maybe he should have done, might have brought him more luck.0 -

Hi CBC
I saw some of it. I bet you were in a bad mood. I'm the same when Murray loses. I hope he does better today - he should be able to beat Berdych.

Sorry I'm not posting much at the moment. I'm so tired because of these damn antibiotics. It doesn't matter how much sleep I get, I just feel like a zombie most of the time.
I've got 8 more doses to go and can't wait to get rid of this line. The dressing was changed yesterday and it killed. Note to self for next time: shave my arms beforehand!! I had blood taken this morning too so they can test the levels of the drugs and make sure they aren't causing me any damage (other than altering my tastebuds and turning me into a zombie!!).
I'm following doctor's orders and haven't done any work yet. They have said it won't help my tiredness to do too much on the laptop, so I've been avoiding it. I'm going to start on Monday seeing as my last dose is on Monday morning and I'll have the line out shortly afterwards. This will give me 20 days left of the month to get my earnings up, so at least £800 should be possible.

Morning - just waiting for my nurse to arrive for the first dose of the day. 10 hours sleep and I'm still tired.
I actually started my Christmas shopping yesterday. I got a Wii for my niece. It cost £80 from Gumtree (my mum is putting half towards it though) and it's as good as new. It came with loads of extras and games (including a Wii Fit) so we are going to trade what we know my niece won't use in Cex and get her some games. She is then sorted.
I'm trying to recoup the £40 and have just requested £10 from Panelbase, so am well on the way. I think I'll get my nephew's presents with my Amazon money.

Jeez, the nurse didn't come until 10am. Means it will be a late one tonight. Not my favourite nurse either. She's nice enough but is a bit disorganised and pulls on the line when she's putting the drugs in. Don't think I'll be seeing her again though.
I've just got another £2.50, from a survey site, towards getting the Wii money back. Only £27.50 to go

Sent the message below before you posted about the nurse's visit but will leave it as it is. Maybe you aren't sounding so upbeat now though x
You sound a lot more upbeat today, Emz:j. So sorry that your treatment is proving so horrible but the end is in sight now. I'm sure all the other subscribers to your diary appreciate that you are still finding the energy to keep us in the picture. It must be very tiring given all that you've had to put up with recently. Don't worry about getting any work done until you feel good and ready, your health comes first.
Don't think I'll bother watching the tennis this afternoon:(. Ferrer is playing his last match but as he's lost both others in straight sets I feel so sorry for him. I'd hate to see him lose three in a row. He's about the oldest competitor there (I think) and whereas players like Nadal, Federer and Djokovic have paced themselves and played only a relatively few tournaments this year Ferrer seems to have been playing in a lot more. I could be wrong (often am:o) but I know Nadal and Djokovic are fairly rested. I think playing Paris just a couple of days before this tournament finished David off. I hope he takes time for a good rest and comes back like his old self for Auckland which he usually plays (and wins) before the Australian Open.
Enjoy your weekend:beer:0 -

Thanks CBC - I feel a bit more 'with it' today, but I tend to get more tired as the day goes on. Can't wait until Monday :j
I watched some of Ferrer's match against Berdych the other day. Bless him, he wasn't himself at all. I think he always plays more tournaments than anyone else. I'm sure he'll be back next year running around the court like usual.
I hope you have a good weekend

I'm free!!!!!! :j:j:j:j:j
I'm so relieved - I had my line taken out this morning and it's a lovely feeling!! It's still quite sore and bruised, so I have been taking it easy, but I have done some stuff around the flat. This evening, I must wash my hair (and not get someone else to do it for me) and have a good shower (without sticking one arm out of the door!!) as there's loads of marks left from the dressing.
I've got the hospital tomorrow afternoon at 3.30pm just to check my lung function etc.
Here's hoping my tastebuds return to normal ASAP.
