Ha Ha! I had to laugh at your exercise trousers wearing out:o before our DMP, I didn't have clothes that "wore out", nowadays, I have plenty but feel quite proud that I manage to wear something so long that it starts to have holes in it - my pounds per wear ratio is fantastic!... I must add that I don't look like a tramp, they are only small holes and only I know where they are - and I have started mending them with my new found enthusiasm for using my long neglected sewing machine

This made me giggle, I bought a dress pre LBM just because I didn't like the clothes I'd left the house in and I'd rowed with OH so didn't want to go home to change. It wasn't an expensive dress but most definitely a want not need. However it's been my favourite dress for years and has been repaired over and over, (as above little holes that only I'm aware of). I wouldn't dream of such reckless shopping now but in this case it turned out to be a good buy.
Puzz, your plans re nights out sounds right to me. I'm facing having to excuse myself from a hen party as it's just ridiculously extravagant and I just cannot justify that sort of spending.

:jIts Friday, my favourite day of the week... and the sun is shining at the moment anyway.. they have forecast nasty stuff tomorow so looks like a day cleaning for saturday....
Ths morning I have cashed in £50 of amazon vouchers from my shopandscan and ordered some of my dd's birthday presents... 2 dvd boxsets and a book.. £47.. Other than those she doesn't have much of a list, just some gift cards and I have my birthday savings to pay for those and anything else...
Lost 2lbs this week, will probably find it again by next friday... or it will find me.. :rotfl:
No luck with replacement exercise trousers so my exposed bottom will have to remain... must remember to wear a long top when walking the streets....
Food shop to do at lunchtime today, got a £8 off £40 shop from sainsbobs, but everything expensive has run out as in laundry stuff, cat littler, olive oil, marmite.. you name it and it is on my list today, but I will do my best to keep it as low as possible... I need spare as I'm taking mum to lunch on monday for her birthday.. only a pub type lunch so £20 should cover it..
Forgot about another social event, well sort of.. I offered up dd and my services for a day's amusement to my mum when she is looking after my niece in July...Will incorporate dd's birthday treat into this as she doesn't want to do anything except the theatre (already booked and paid for early July..). So will need to suggest firmly to OH that he digs deep into his pocket and offers up some cash towards it..
Right off for a cuppa and then get on with some work.. ish...Christmas 2020 £109

Thanks bb, what I'm really kicking myself about is if I hadn't been in so much debt I would have been able to visit her during the last 5 years. Oh well onwards and upwards as they say!!Christmas 2020 £109

Hi PG, You would be most welcome to come and visit.. but may be a little crowded to move in on a permenant basis..
...
I was on MIT's diary the other day when we were discussing the quantity of suasages we had.. she won at 29.. mine is currently only on 28..... Must stop buying more food...!!!
Which leads me to today.. could have been my first NSD of june, but dd wanted some nice bread and my washing basket was all broken.. has been limping along for awhile and I stuck it together with sellotape.... as I still had my £10 tesco vouchers I headed there and bought a new washing basket, washing up bowl, drainer and cutlery tray for £9.50... obviously 2 yellow stickered pizza's jumped into my trolley as I was passing the RTC aisle.. naughty pizza's.... plus a few other bits forgotten from the main shop..
On my return home, my neighbours friend who is also a window cleaner was doing her windows, he promised to do mine about 6 months ago.... they were new 18 months ago and haven't been cleaned.. so front one's now sparkly.. and i'm £15 down.. they were embarasingly filthy !!! So lots of spends after all...
I desperately need to hold onto some cash this weekend as I'm taking mum out on monday for lunch and she's picked an 'expensive' pub.. so probably won't cost less than £20 which I was hoping for.. never mind.. she's worth it...
Right off to clean the bathroom and I need to do some ironing.. boring.........................................Christmas 2020 £109

Took my lovely mum to lunch yesterday and came in under £20 so that was a result..!!
Can't be doing with this hot weather and working.. normally not a problem but the air con is broken in the car and I don't know if it just needs re-gassing. (which i did last year..) or if its actually broken as its not making the click noise when I press the button.. might have to bite the bullet and book it into kwik fit, they quote £49 but don't charge if they can't make your car 10% cooler or some such malarky.. may try and pop in when out and about today as I have 2 branches quite close to me... Money I don't want to spend but do need to be able to use my car and not arrive in a sweaty mess...!!!Christmas 2020 £109

Hadn't finished my post but the computer's playing up or this site is....
So no other money news to report, statements coming in, only creation charging interest so amended my SC figures accordingly. Still toying with doing my review in July instead of August as houseguest over for first 2 weeks and I would like to have it done before she arrives..! It won't be much different as some things have gone up and some down..and not much change in income so will probably only increase payments by £10 ish... but as long as its the right direction.. we shall see...!!
Still got to sort out what I'm doing with my mate on the 12th.. shall have a play in a minute... also need to find wedding outfits as its getting closer.. in fact i'm off now to browse.. then into the hot car... boo....Christmas 2020 £109
