Its friday again.. these weeks are racing past and its only 3 weeks till the wedding... need to book car into the airport, get some ink to print off boarding cards, sort handbag for me, sort comfy 'cheap' pumps for me and dd to change into, as it will be a long day... get oh's suit dry cleaned, buy a card.. have ordered a present off another mse lady who does crafts so i'm sure that will be beautiful... think that's about it... houseguest arrives in 2 weeks... eeek.. not sure how my budget's going to work out with an extra mouth to feed.....
DD's birthday weekend so off out for a meal on sunday and another one next friday... its all money going out and not coming in....
Completed 2nd overtime visit weds evening, gave myself last night off and tonight its just tooooo hot... so will carry on next week with those...I won't feel the benefit of them until end of August though as I missed the cut off point for payroll.. never mind...
Right off to stand by the fan and drink yet another glass of water....Christmas 2020 £109

Quick update before I head out into the sunshine...
Have managed 4 overtime visits now, so August's pay packet should be nice and healthy... hope to manage a few more before the month end.. but its soooo hot... ho hum.....
Still money all going out.. went for meal with dd, but OH paid for that, I've booked car into airport £43... so have pinched £50 from OH as I need to purchase ink, meal out this friday for mine, dd's and niece's birthday, also need to buy some pumps and some flea stuff for the moggies... Still in credit in the bank and have £50 of my own money in purse but need some bits from Tesco today so no doubt will be poor again tonight....!
Have done really well on not buying yellow stickered food this month and have only added 8 meals worth since 20 June so freezer is no longer bulging... Not sure what meals I can create when houseguest here, but I suspect they will be eating out/visiting others for some of the time so hopefully won't increase my grocery budget tooo much...!!
War in family.. Mother and future SIL have fallen out.. great timing wedding in 2 weeks... I am being a sympathetic ear but am keeping well out of it....!!!!
Dd had a great birthday, loved all her presents and is now creating the list of things needed before back to new school in September.. its never ending this spending... but needs must and I will have some overtime money to help pay for it.. although I was hoping to start stashing it so we can have a holiday next year.. I am determined we will so best get out and do some more work...
Sc pay creditors on Friday and then I can update my %..
That's all for now...

Sunday Morning.. and very quiet in the Puzz household... dd has a friend staying and they were still chattering away at 3.30 this morning so no sign of them... OH popped to the pub last night after we had a bbq for a couple of pints and got back at 1am...!! And then proceeded to clean the fish tank.... He's gone off to work today.. Me.. I'm up, dressed, washing on the line, cleaned the kitchen and will shortly prod the girls before I pop out to top up their supplies for today/tonight.... then off to visit some family and then the lovely ironing to do.. so not too much stress today...
Money News..
Paid 9th payment to creditors.. debt now under 55k's.. so pleased with that in 9 months...!! Currently 7.7% of debt gone..:T And in 2 months time I should hit the 10%....!!! I've also knocked off a couple of months off my dfd due to the increased dmp payment starting next month so only 96 months to go.....bearing in mind it started at 107 months we are doing fab...my dmp...
I managed another overtime visit last week so that brings it up to 5 for the month, I may or may not do any this week as its my birthday on tuesday and although I'm working during the day I think I may invite my mum over in the evening for some wine and chinese.... If i'm enthuastic I could probably do one more tomorrow night.. I will see how the week pans out.. and its a nice short one for me as i've taken thurs and fri off to get the house sorted ready for houseguest's arrival on sunday.. OH is away from tuesday so he won't be here to mess it up again...!!
Bank stil in credit. only by about £15 but credit is credit..!! I have about £35 left to do me this week.. and its also payday on Wednesday:j...
I have promised dd I will buy her another pair of converses and some more jeans.... and hope to be able to complete another 5 ish overtime visits next month.. we shall see, but I do want to take full advantage of it whilst its on offer as it often isn't....
Right off to make a cuppa then wake the girls...

Well dd and friend excelled themselves last night after the 3.30am bedtime the night before last night they stayed up all night...!!! Bless I suspect both will be having early nights tonight and I get my house back..:T....Plus don't teenagers eat a lot.... cost me a fortune...!!! Off to the office to sort out my paperwork for the next few days then back to cook girls some tea and then mum's taxi to take friend home..
It really doesn't feel like the day before my birthday.. the only huge difference this year to last is that my birthday money will be mine.. and not spent on debt repayment.. now there's a nice positive thought....!!! :j

Happy belated Birthday Puzz, I hope that you had a wonderful day
It's great to see the debt coming down isn't it? Time really does fly by, It's 4 years since I started my DMP and it has passed by so quickly.

where did that week go...?
Its all been ups and downs.. I now have a houseguest for a fortnight so can only jump on here when she's not around... like now...!!!
So I had a birthday, lots of lovely cards and a pile of money that's all mine...!! Well that was the theory. in practice of course it just gets spent on what's needed at that time, but I am determined to buy some new underwear at the very least...!!!
Have had some time off work and today something has kicked off that may be out of my control, will just have to wait and see but I now have a small black cloud to carry with me for the wedding.. great timing......
Moneywise... It was a year ago that I was heavily researching dmp's and busy changing bank accounts etc in readiness.. time really does fly and its hard to describe the feeling of knowing my debts have gone down nearly £5 k in the last year and that doesn't include the £2.5k paid to mum loan.... Roll on the next year.. I can't wait to get to 10% paid off my dmp which hopefully will be about September..
Hello Ellie and INOD, thanks for dropping in and my birthday wishes, hope you are both well.
My dd has got herself an interview on Monday for a part time job, so we are keeping our fingers crossed, but the experience will be good for her anyway... and of course more new clothes as how many 16 year olds have 'interview' type clothes in the wardrobe....
Right lots to get done for work and to be ready for the wedding... Roll on Friday week when I get my house back...
