Hi HB and Steph, Thanks for visiting...!!

I do follow both your diaries but find limited time to join in.. I must make more effort.. bad puzz..

I have now achieved my normal work target for the month of August and have done 4 evening visits, 2 of which are now mine for overtime and if I can complete 2 more day one's tomorrow I can have the other 2 as well.. that's my current plan anyway..

Cheeky day off today.. dd and I are off to London this afternoon to the theatre again... I purchased the tickets through kids week which means dd is free so only the £70.. for me.. but that's it now on the entertainment v not having a holdiday front...

Finally got my washing machine fixed yesterday... 10 days.. :eek:without.. you can imagine the backlog..andwith no sunshine I have limited drying space so can only manage 2 washes a day... oh well i'm sure I will catch up... and on the plus side OH paid for the repair... :D

PAYDAY... always exciting... I got a nice 3 figure overpayment for overtime last month.. have promised to buy dd some new clothes and if its not all spent it will go in the holiday 2015 pot... All money allocated to appropriate pots...

Also dd got a call about her new job yesterday and she starts in 2 weeks time. one evening a week, only until 9.15 though and then 6 hours on a saturday.. she's very excited about the money....!!! I am so proud of her, she is my little star... :D

So banking done, little credit left from last month but nothing to write home about.. might pay for our chippy tea later... now off to reload washing machine and get the hoover out... a domestic goddesses work is never ending...

:j Today is the first day of super sexy september.... A little challenge I have going with a friend.. this is the month when we start to knuckle down and shift the lardy bits we have gathered or in fact not lost since last winter... As I didn't have need for a bikini this summer, I was unable to focus on the bikini body... But I can see the layers gathering so have accepted the challenge and want to lose a stone in the next 6 -8 weeks.. well that's the plan...

Downside.. my treadmill broke a few months ago.... I managed to get OH to agree to go halves and have ordered a new one to arrive end of next week.. I need a treadmill, I use a treadmill.. when I'm in the right mood... so purchased one on sale from Argos.... In the meantime its starting with the control of what goes into my body and that means stopping the snacking, drinking of far too much wine and eating cheese... So today is day 1.. No alcohol, no cheese and no snacking.. although let's face it, it is only 6.30.... but dinner in an hour and an early night for me....

    Also a NSD today...:T

Last months overtime will cover most of my half of the treadmill so any more I can do this month will definately be for the holiday pot for 2015.. or I won't be able to show anyone my bikini body...

A whole week has passed and what do I have to show for it.. well I lost 2lbs courtesy of not drinking and so not snacking, unfortunately I was a pig at the weekend so in order to lose my stone I am going to have to learn to be good then as well....

Treadmill arrives friday, very excited have told OH he has to build it on friday evening as he's off to greece saturday for a week..

DD back to school, settling in slowly and she starts her new job this week, so lots of nerves but she'll be grand i'm sure...

No money news, trying not to spend anything unless needed.. bank account in credit.. I do have the ability to earn some overtime this month so need to gear myself up and get on with it !!!

No social occasions until October so hope for a reasonably good month on the £'s and the lb's...

Sexy september is going well... part of my plan was to join the SNC (school night challenge) on the giving up/cutting back alcohol thread, so no drinking on a school night.. not that I go to school of course..:D I have currently achieved 7 free nights in September which helps the £'s and the lb's....

Friday sees stage 2 come into play with the expected delivery of my new treadmill.. can't wait as my walking partner blows me out frequently and I want to get running and shift some lard.. well less than a stone of lard but hey I don't want it...!!!!

Just picked my spring onions for my recipe of turkey and spring onion burgers later, which I will make after dropping my dd to her brand new job this evening...! I've told OH he can do the pick up after as he will not be able to do it for the next 5 weeks so best he does this one...

No money news except a saving statement.. what's one of them then, not had one before.. oh yes I never really had any savings.... It show all my different saving accounts which I use for different things and has a pie chart and everything.. quite sadly excited by this...!!!

    That's all folks..

  • Morning Puzzcat,

Sorry not been around for a while, been super busy lately.

Your Super Sexy September sounds great. I really ought to do something, I'm not exactly over-weight but I have noticed more flabby bits appearing as I approach the big 4 - 0!!.

It did get my old Yoga DVD out the other day but then felt sick after 5 minutes and turn it off :rotfl:.

Keep going, 1 stone may be quite a challenge but even if you lose half a stone it is a good achievement.

How is the Treadmill? I always fancied on of those, but couldn't face the amount of space they take up.

Keep us updated with how you are getting on xxx

    Have a great weekend xx

The weeks are flying past although with the current weather it feels like July..! Unfortunately the early dark evenings give it away that winter is peeping from around the corner... on the upside that means.. HSxmastree.gif is getting closer.. and if you read my diary from last year you will know i'm a big christmas fan.. but I won't mention it again until next month.. promise....

    So the news..

Well dd started her new job, settling slowly.. they do seem a little unorganised for a very large company and I must have had to call them at least a dozen times so far to get things sorted and I know I will have to call them tomorrow as they still haven't got her shift/pay correct.. Should hire me, I'd get them right...!!!

Work.. busy... have done some overtime this month, one lot should slip into septembers pay and with last months overtime should cover my share of the treadmill.. so that means the one I did this week and the other 2 I have will get paid in October and currently don't have a must pay catagory against them...

Although my car is making an awful noise in reverse.. must google I keep meaning too...!!

House has stayed tidy as OH is away...:rotfl:

No money news.. down to about my last £10 in the bank but should have enough cash in my envelopes to last the month.. fingers crossed..!! extra expenses keep popping up like topping up oyster for dd to travel tonight etc.... oh well that's life I guess....

Sexy September.. still only 3lbs lighter as was a bit of a pig at the weekend, but weigh day tomorrow so you never know... Have only managed my new treadmill twice as was working saturday and tuesday night and mum taxiing weds and today, plus having my mum over for dinner.. its all go you know....!!

So onwards and upwards and I do wish the weekend would hurry up as I'm tired....
