So near to that magic 10%.. Next month I will be into the double figures of percentage paid and will drop into the 53's.. how cool is that..

Fab news on the 9.5% Puzzcat. Will feel great when you break through into the double figures. I love doing all these little calculations, they really keep the motivation going. :T.


I hope you are feeling ok. Be kind to yourself and have a rest. Got to make the most of these situations and the bug will hang around longer if you push yourself too hard.


What trip is your Dd going on that can cost so much money :eek:, I was stress last week because I have to pay for Ds to go on a three day trip that costs £110. I would have a heart failure if it was in the thousands!!.

I keep reminding myself to enjoy the children as much as possible, its so hard though sometimes. I feel the children are doing too many clubs atm and because of that they seem tired and moody. They won't hear of giving any of them up though so will have to ride the storm I suppose.

Its one of those faraway go and build a school or some such malarky for a month...!!!!! Not sure she really wants to go as that would also be the summer for getting ready for uni... surely my baby girl isn't really going to leave home..:eek: So will have to wait and see, going to the meeting doesn't cost anything, thankfully..!!!


Forgot to mention I was actually allowed into the shop last night where dd was working as she wanted me to buy something.. very strange being served by my baby.. a working girl..!!

:eek: Still poorly... I am a rubbish sick person and can't abide being unable to carry out completely normal tasks without having to sit down for 10 minutes in between.... Cold/Flu/Bug.. whatever it is I wish it would just do one and let me get on with things... Over the last 4 days other than a trip to do a food shop, I've been mum taxi, done some washing and ironing, hoovered.. (nearly killed me.) and cleaned the bathroom.. was in bed by 9.30 last night and was awake on the hour every hour.. coughing like a good un... Hey ho, hopefully tomorrow I will feel better..!!


Good news.. dd got paid.. she was well excited, suddenly makes going to work worthwhile..!!


We have to make a decision on the £3500 school trip by Thursday.. all a bit rushed if you ask me... some of it is raised by fund raising but they don't cover that until after you have commited to go.... DD is still undecided and we haven;t really had much of a chance to talk about it...


No other news.. dull, dull, dull.... roll on October, let's hope its a good one..!!


Payday for me tomorrow..:T but will have to book car in with its funny noise.. boo...

A big decision to make Puzz....everyone I know that has been on these trips have always really enjoyed them, but your DD needs to be sure that she wants to go , because some of them are hard...especially dealing with very hot weather.


Sorry that you have been so poorly - all my family have had something similar - have managed to avoid so far, always dread getting anything, as you know one can't just crawl into bed and rest to recover quickly - like everyone else in the family does!! Well done and hope you feel better soon

Right its official I have Bronchitis, no wonder I feel like.. :eek:... I have a week's worth of antibiotics and a inhaler... never used one of them before...!!!! I have been off work for 5 days now so if better by Thursday I can self certifcate, doc says to phone in if not and he will sign me off... will have to wait and see..!! Great for the diet mind as have no appetite at all, probably not the healthy way to lose weight mind... !


Mum's cab tonight as dd is working an overtime shift, luckily only till 8 so I shall head off early and see if the store has any food that tempts me...


First spend of the new month.. £16.10 :eek: on perscription...!!!


No other money news as I can't access my payslip until I'm in the office so the bank will be able to sit pretty for awhile until I can get hold of it and move all my money around...


Still discussing the proposed school trip with dd, she is not sure... well she has until Thursday to decide.. my lovely mum has offered to pay the first £350 deposit if she wants to go.. I haven't told dd that though, she needs to want to go, really want to go for that amount of money...!!!

Day 7... Still poorly.. boring isn't it..! But I think we are on the cusp of starting to mend.. well I bloomin hope so anyway..! Antibiotics should be kicking in now so hopefully by the weekend Puzz will be back up to speed..!!


Thanks for popping in NOA, luckily with dd at sixth form and OH out at work I have a nice quiet day during the day and just have to be mum's cab in the am and pm (when dd working..) like tonight..


No one at work wants me back.. haha... and I'm not rushing..!! Got loads to do but its all a week late now anyway so what difference is a few more days going to make... Will be calling the doctor in the morning and see if I can get signed off til monday or however it works.. hope its now something I have to pay for.. will be cross if it is..!!!


Only downside to not being in the office is can't access my payslip so can't move all my pennies around.. on the plus side i'm not spending any either... well apart from the one's dd is spending for me..! still no appetitie, which is so unlike me as I love my food... sure it will come back with avengence.. (sp)..


So nothing exciting to report from the sick house.. dd is currently on the no to school trip.. but a lot can happen in 24 hours so will watch this space...!!


Have stripped my bed and am currently tumbling it dry.. oh on nights now so I can be star shaped in a lovely clean bed tonight.. its the little things that bring joy...!!!!
