Loud and Proud today..


Back to work.. managed 3 hours in the office and then escaped..! Have now got my work I can do from home.. everyone appears to be ill at work, in the town etc.. you can't get away from these pesky germs..!!!


Feeling much much better, just a little cough so hope to be right as rain by monday...


SOoooooooo I caved and booked a summer holiday.. Easyjet's fault they sent me a email saying flights were open for summer 2015.... Got a good deal for dd and I and paid for them in cash.. Have booked the accomodation and will send off my deposit when I have decided which pot it can come out of..!! Oh will stump up our spending money and we are already saving for taxi's etc.. (20p's and 50p's).. Also got 140 euro's left from the wedding we went to in August...


More good news.. took car back to kwik fit with its noises.. as I had the exhaust done in July.. turns out it had come loose and new clamps and soldering hopefully will have solved the problem and was FREE as under warrenty... my car money pot remains intact for another day.. There is still a small funny noise when I'm in reverse but I will worry about that if it gets louder.. i'm sure if it was something obvious the mechanic would have seen/noticed.....


That's about all to report today, no money news, statements coming in - no surprises thankfully...!!

Well now feeling much better just a bit tired so will try not to pack too much into the weekend so I'm all guns blazing monday....


Have got a social occasion.. get me... I don't go out very often.. by choice that is, not that i'm a billy no mates.. :rotfl:but I have a girls night at a friends house tomorow, takeaway and wine.. should be fun...! DD comes too and we have a sleepover, so no expensive taxi's to pay for..


Just been to collect my click and collect order.. it is really quite good and stops you filling your trolley with all that stuff that you don't actually need.. although I am missing out on the yellow stickered food that I often pick up, but better for my purse...


Moved my money about so the holiday is properly paid for, rather than it was paid for by my christmas pot...! Just got to sort the deposit out.. now where can I locate £100..... I'm sure if I look hard enough I'll find it....


No other money news. all just ticking along... and on the upside it is FRIDAY.. :j

Fab that you have booked a holiday. Where are you off to?
You mentioned borrowing it from your Christmas pot, will you be able to replace that before Christmas? I'm not being the voice of doom, I think its great, and within reason we do still need to have abit of enjoyment during our debt free journey. I was just hoping you wouldn't get in a mess for Christmas, but you are a sensible girl, I am sure you have it all planned out xx


Anyway, I can't moan at you when I am off to Portugal on Thursday


It will be something nice for you to look forward to which I do think we all need.


Hope your cough is all gone and you have escaped any more germs.

Your are never the voice of doom..!! No worries on the christmas funds, its just they were easily accessable through my online banking rather than my holiday savings i have to go and withdraw from the building society the old fashioned way...!!


We are off to the canary islands, my second home.. only I don't own it just have visited many many times! Not till summer 2015 though..!!!

OH went off to cash & carry this morning and came back with loads of chicken breasts.. I did ask him to buy them, but not as many as he did.. saved me £20..


On the downside we may need taxi's after all tonight so there goes £20... in one hand and out the other......


Talking of holidays, I just checked the flights as some of our friends my be joining us and they have gone up £83 in 3 days...!


And dd has decided to do the school trip in 2016.. just the £3500 to find then... :eek: I will be up for any overtime and OH has a stash so i'm sure all will be fine..


Right off back to the housework..................................:(
