Someone stole my weekend again.. and it was a 3 day one for me... grr...
Still another one is heading this way once we get a weeks work out of the way.
Amazing weather over the weekend, even my towels dried on the line in mid october... let's hope it stays mild and then we can all keep the heating off for as long as possible...
Quiet weekend, no big spends, got some cash in my purse and still have some pennies in the bank so all good... 5 days until SC pay the creditors..... I'll be back with an update for that as it will be a year on my dmp...!!!!
Sent the deposit off for dd's big trip courtesy of lovely mother, now we just need to fund the rest...!!! I shall do a few boot fairs that can go towards it, and will just make OH work really hard...!!!!!
Finally feeling better its taken ages to get over this and I am going to relax until November and then start my diet/exercise/I must be good regime.. no point doing it now as I'm on leave for most of next week and won't have a routine as such...!!!
No other money news.. I did win the lottery.. but only £3.10 so can't retire just yet.. still tomorrow is another big one......so if you don't hear from me... :rotfl:

Hi Puzzcat,
Look forward to seeing your dmp update :T.
Well done on the lottery win, like NOA said, lets hope its a little win before the big one0 -
Well sadly as I don't live in Portugal I didn't win £149 million on the lottery last night so looks like I shall have to keep plugging away working and paying debt.. boring....
Now..... drumroll please....
Its been a year of payments to stepchange for my lovely dmp and I can proudly SHOUT.. My debt is now in the 53's.... Now I know this is still a huge amount but its much nicer being nearer the 40's than up in the 60's where I started...:j
I have paid off £6265 in a year.. If I include my family loan I have paid off £8665.... WOW......
I have all sorts of plans to keep decreasing my debt and to increase the quality of my life during this journey although I haven't been like some and scrimped, a reasonably generous budget, a lovely mother who likes to treat me and a hardworking OH who shares his money all helps..
To anyone who may be reading this... and hasn't yet signed up for a dmp..... why not??? They work, your debts go down, you learn to budget, you can still live.. the only downside is a rubbish credit rating, but no-one on a dmp wants credit again apart from mortgages and credit files repair after time...
So I've now paid off 10.5%.... double figures.. :j I'm so excited today.... Just the 89.5% to go...:rotfl:
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

visitors.. how lovely, thank you all for popping in with your good wishes and messages..makes the puzzcat purr..
I'm on leave this week, not got a lot planned and so far seem to have avoided being ill which is unusual for me when on holiday..!! Generally playing mum's taxi and doing a bit of sorting and organising... Finally got dd's bank/isa sorted and now signed her up online so she can watch her millions grow.. as she doesn't like to spend that one...!!!
Payday for me tomorrow.. :j Still got £80 in the bank.. its a miracle.. dd has tried to spend it, and to be honest she does need a few things for school but if I can just get to tomorrow in tact that will be nice..!!
I've been offered some more overtime for the rest of the year so that will be some more pennies to split between the many different saving pots we now have going....
I have a few bits to Ebay.. hate ebay but i know these items will sell so plan to list them sometime in the next few weeks and start off the dd's big 2016 school trip fund with the proceeds.. will also do a few boot fairs next year, otherwise it will all come down to OH to fund...
More trips planned... Lovely mother is very keen to go away again but on my proviso its a 'budget' style trip rather than the previous 'luxury' ones.. I'm sure I can swing it for about £250.. and then just spending money to find... all do able at the moment as long as life doesn't throw any spannners my way...!!
Can't relax today as dd and her friend are up in London, just the 2 of them on a university taster day.. won't relax until she's home safe and sound..
Diet and exercise went complete off the agenda when I was ill and I haven't retaken up the reins this is the first job for November.. Also more frugal spending in order to try and save £25 a week to split between pots... we shall see how we do.... I want to lose 7lbs before christmas and be back running on the treadmill...
So busy month ahead coming and of course the christmas shopping will start with avengence in the next week or so....
I so love CHRISTMAS....
Back soon. puzz. xxChristmas 2020 £109
