  • Oh Puzz, What a muddle! Whatever happened to attention to detail and good service and taking pride in doing a job right!:mad:
Enjoy your day and hopefully on expenses!
Have you seen BBC website - Hotel fined couple £100 for leaving a bad review on Trip Adviser!!!!! apparently it was in the booking conditions...!
Wouldn't it be great to be able to hibernate - I could do with some of that - preferably on a beach in the Caribbean:D

Hope you week gets better, starting now - and congrats on the lottery win - another step closer to the big one!

Hi Noah, thanks for popping by.. I do read lots of diaries including yours but am a bit rubbish at posting. soz....

Unfortunately the day hasn't so far got better.. having gone out solely for the purpose of doing a specific visit, (the same visit I tried to do yesterday but they were closed..) yep they were closed again....... then 2 seperate vehicles tried to hit me..! I'm bright blue how can you not see me...????? Luckily I saw both of them, as appears to be always the way these days on the road, why don't people pay attention and look further than the end of there noses when driving.. rant over... Let's hope tonight goes better...!!

    The food plan..

To take me into 2015 and new years resolutions etc... I will be intending to NOT buy any food for the freezer from 31 December 2014... We will then spend the first 3 months of the year emptying both my freezers ready for a spring defrost session.. and then I can fill them up again.. sounds like a plan...!!

Unless its a complete bargain of course like my 2 turkeys I got last year for £1.12 each... otherwise...walk away...:rotfl:

:j Yep its friday again.. they come round quicker and quicker at the moment...!!!

The day did get better on wednesday and although I wouldn't say its been a great week it is nearly over...!!

Nice meal with lovely mother on weds evening whilst dd was working.. only cost £10...

Both hotels have now released my money so the account is back to normal again and the cheque for my 2015 holiday has finally been cashed so I can stop having to factor that in each time I do my figures..

Recieved one refund, still waiting for another but in the interim have done a bit of spending... another pair of leggings for dd.. not cheap at £29.50 but really good quality and I had a 10% off voucher. Also have done some online christmas shopping.. more stuff for dd.. but did find another 10% voucher code so saved myself £9.20 and that's the majority of her big presents done now.. The neighbours cat is climbing all over me, the keyboard and computer desk.. he's now standing in front of the screen so i have no idea what i am typing...He is now throwing pens at me...:rotfl:

Payday still another week away, should have about £40 in the bank once the refund is processed and I have no current plans to spend it..

New SC statement in today, now down to the low £53's.. drop into the 52's next month and now at 11.4% paid off...

Up early doors but dd reluctant to depart from her duvet meant I got her to work with 1 minute to spare..! Since then I have been to the supermarket, one lot of washing hung up, another lot in, washed up and unpacked dishwasher, hoovered house and caught up with sis who lives far away and upside down...! Just the bathroom and kitchen to do, which I will leave till later as going out on a work visit in an hour..

Shouldn't have tempted fate with my I'm not spending my £40 yesterday as dd, desperately needed a text book like yesterday so ordered and cost an extra £7.45 to get it delivered today.. so that was £27.45... ho hum.. at least it was there to spend...!!!

On the upside found £10 in the kitchen.. no doubt belonged to OH but finders keepers I say.. plus this is the third text book I have bought for dd since september so that can be his contribution...!!!

Nothing planned for later after collecting dd, just domestic goddess duties and tomorrow may go and do some christmas shopping in town followed by ironing and sorting city break hotel with mother.. I have found a new one....

Right onwards and upwards, have a lovely mse weekend...

It was like winter this morning.. out scrapping the car at 7.30... still only 4 months till spring... sure the time will fly by...!!

Money news.. £21 left in the account assuming dd doesn't NEED anything else between now and payday on Thursday..!! I didnt go christmas shopping yesterday, the weather was vile so stayed home instead...! I may take friday off if I have finished my work quota and go to town then...

Month today till santa comes....!!! HS_santa_dancing.gif

Not a lot planned for the week other than work of course..!! dd off to the cinema tomorrow eve so I may do an evening visit then as OH won't be home from work until 9.. Wednesday they are both at work so I could go mad and try to do 2 this week, we shall see...

Diet and exercise rubbish.. think I will abandon until the new year as my heart really isn't in it...!!

I still owe one of my saving pots £210 from the half a treadmill and my city break flight. No water bill to pay from this months wages £40 and also got £80 and £50 unallocated at the moment so will probably get most of it paid back end of this month... maybe...!!! It would have been going to lovely mother to pay my share of the hotel but she insists on paying so what's a girl to do....:D

  • Just saying hi Puzz, barely around at the moment. It's brilliant this Xmas malarky when you've put the money aside. No guilt Xmas shopping, should have worked out how to do that years ago

Hey Puzz, it's so hard this time of year not to comfort eat :( I haven't lost much stayed on 10.10 which is good, I guess. Have been good and not bought any biscuits this week. And not a single mars bar since last week. Lots of cheese on toast and gooey cheesy omelettes though! Have been lazy with cooking this week. Am going to keep trying though and will join you in New Year to blitz it!

How lovely of your mum - you deserve it!
