Sunday already, someone stole my weekend...:(
Lovely evening last night, too much wine but plenty of laughter and I only needed a cab one way so not too heavy on the pocket...
Went off for a bit of a reduced food hunt today and got 10 meals for £11.32 and a 4 pack of chocolate eclairs... todays haul includes wild salmon fillets (free as had £4 voucher), smoked haddock, 4 lamb chops, 5 packets of different types of sausages, 2 quiches, some fancy fishcakes.. Freezer is full...
Picked my last spring onions out of my pots for dinner tomorrow, think that's it now on the homegrown vegetables for this year.. I still have carrots, but i'm not keen.. won't grow them again..!! I need a rabbit..!
Not looking forward to a 5 day week, but i'm off for most of the half term so only a fortnight to go...
Right off to cook the dinner....... roast gammon.. dd's fav...

Hi Puzz,
Just been catching up! for the school trip but I think it will be a brilliant experience for DD..... also am sure that school might encourage the pupils going to try and raise some money of their own? eg cake sales, book sales, sponsored event etc?
Holiday booking was well timed! Well done for being so savvy --- I keep getting the E*syJ*t emails and am so tempted to book something but have been resisting so hard.....

Hi NOA,
It will be a great experience I'm sure, shame about the cost though!!! We will be doing some fundraising but realistically the brunt will come down to us (well OH) to pay for...
Luckily I had already been stashing some money away in case we could go away next summer so paying for it now hasn't got in the way of any of my other savings/debt busting... I shall make the most of it mind as I can't see me getting away again for awhile.. unless I win the Big one tomorrow on the Euro...!Christmas 2020 £109

Money all moved around so deposit cheque sent for summer 2015... So now I just need to save the rest, which should be quite doable...
Shops are filling up withgoodies.. will have to get the list from dd and start thinking about what I want to buy peeps this year.. I like to do all my shopping early so will make a start in the next few weeks... of course we have the dreaded
in a few weeks which I absolutely hate with a passion.. followed by the equally unimpressive
... wish we could just skip from the 30 October to the middle of November... Not a lot to report still have some pennies in the bank, have signed dd up for her mega trip in 2016.. lovely mother is paying the first deposit.. Second payment not due till Feb but its a biggy..!
