Minor boo boo on the wheatfree front... bought a ready made veggie bake and afterwards checked the ingredients.. wheatflour... why not use cornflour like the rest of the world... decided to eat it anyway as figured it wasn't the main part of the dish.. well this morning, let's just say I wasn't too good.. and I've felt bloated and tired all day... might just be a coincidence...but I shall be more careful over the next few days..

Got my lovley m & s rump steak tonight.. for free...:D Having salad with it and maybe some chips.. (once I've read the packet to make sure they are just potatoes...!)

Feel too tired to do anything tonight.. will just veg and watch tv and hopefully have my bounce back tomorrow...

Need to move money around and get my car tax sorted this week, the money is there so its only a transfer not a shuffle I need to do... And payday Friday.. :j

No more social planned until next wednesday when DD and I are off to the westend to the theatre.. we are going 3 times over the next 2 months... also need to sort her birthday... onwards and upwards....

So got my bounce back today so its looking quite likely that my body is not keen on wheat.. shame as I have a freezer full of yummy stuff that I will be eating at some point.. continuing on the wheat free today with the last of the veg tortilla for lunch and cod wrapped in prosciutto with vine tomatoes, homemade wedges and peas & sweetcorn tonight.. yum can't wait..

Also made a tuna pasta salad for lunch tomorrow and thursday...

Spendy day.. I gave in, the car was roasting so as my first visit was shut I went to kwik fit and for the pricely sum of £49 I now have a cool car... I do spend lots of time in the car so it is soooo worth it.. and I have the money in my car account...

Also spent £36 on flea stuff for the kitty kats and £9 on ice creams for dd.. well for the freezer but she will eat them...

So I am now poor till payday.. luckily its only friday... I am confused with my bank as I have transferred money over to pay for things but not yet purchased.. dd's dress for wedding/car tax etc.. so just trying not to spend anything from it....

Now off to sit in front of the tv... for a change and watch some drivel... OH is back tonight but currently watching england play like the rest of the world, then he's back on lates tomorrow and thursday...

Also burnt my finger coz i'm stoopid... right where you hold your pen as well.... never mind I'm sure i'll live...

8th Payment goes tomorrow...:T then I can do my percentage paid update....

Today not feeling so good again and I know I didn't have wheat yesterday so maybe i'm barking up the wrong tree... I am writing everything down so I can see if there is a pattern.. will be bringing wheat back into the equation tomorrow...

On a postive note 8th payment gone and now down to just over 56K... next month into the 55's.. can't wait.. :D Have now paid 6.6%.. just another 93.4 % to go then.. :rotfl:

Was a little sad yesterday as my friend who recently died husband posted on her facebook and messaged me to get in touch. I though maybe he didn't realise I knew so messaged him back. He then rang last night and was on the phone for about an hour.. I hope it did him some good, I'm not convinced I needed to know all the details but hey ho.... very sad and brought it all back to the forefront of my mind..

I'm going to cook some bologneise shortly for tonight and am going out walking with my pal at 5... Have completed my target visits for the month but am aiming to do a few more to make up the shortfall in May as I was off for quite a lot of it... Not sure I can be nothered.. lazy... to do any overtime one's although I should really just running out of evenings in June.. I am doing a few hours saturday so that will come in July's pay packet...

Pay day Friday, I shall go into the office tomorrow and download my payslip and then friday I can move all my money around...

Where did the last 5 days go... This year is zooming off with July peeking over my shoulder tomorrow... An expensive month as its DD's birthday.. and mine but I don't cost much.. :D

Have purchased all the dvd's that she has listed, £50 worth of vouchers used and £20 from the birthday pot.. I am going to pick her up some bits and bobs but otherwise she doesn't really want for much.. except a holiday to NY and a nose job.. but they will have to wait..!!!!

Have taken half day today to sort dd's glasses out as we have got new lenses that need to be fitted and they were due last week but will have to be done today. She needs good vision this week as we are off to the Theatre on Weds.. can't wait should be a nice day out...

Have been sorting my day/night out with by best friend for the 12th.. I did book a night on the London Yacht which looks lovely but on further investigation is so far out of central london we might as well have come home... so I cancelled that and went for a Last minute secret hotel... got a 4 star radisson for £155... I also emailed the hotel to advise we wanted a twin as I saw on trip advisor some people had a problem through 3rd party bookings.. I also happened to mention that we were celebrating her rather belated.. may 2013 50th due to her being ill at the time and they have upgraded us to a superior room. lovely stuff... Just need to decide other than eating and drinking what we shall do... Am waiting confirmation from the other girls if they want to come up and meet for dinner.. will give them till the end of the week to respond....

Payday been and gone, all budgeting done for the month and money moved into and out of different pots.. car tax bought and all looking okay at the moment...

Have been back on the wheat and what is weird is my reflux was really bad when not eating wheat but better when I do.. shame my stomach is the other way round... ho hum..... will keep playing at it, but I'm not sure I have the answer...

Here's to a good week of low spending... and another month nearer that dfd.. just the 99 months to go.. :rotfl:

Just done my review on the sc website as it was due in August and I wanted it done early as have visitors then.. Just a matter of pressing a few buttons inputting the changes which I had kept a record of as they happened during the year and hey presto.. new dmp done for the next year.. Managed to up my payments by £13 a month so dfd is now 2 months sooner... all good..

Have used last months overtime to buy dd some new jeans, she does have expensive taste... £38 and the rest will go towards our trip to london tomorrow...

Not a lot else to report.. car exhaust is making funny noises.. I sound like a boy racer so guess that's the next cost for me to deal with....:(

Had a lovely time with dd yesterday in London, this is the first time I've taken her on my own as I had suffered from GAD and PTSD for many years.. so gave myself a right pat on the back and we are doing it again in August..

Still driving the boy racer.. will have to go to kwik fit in the next week and assess the damage.. fingers crossed it doesn't take all my emergency money to fix it....

On the upside I heave been offered more overtime, with luck it will run through the summer so I will be a busy bee for awhile...

So.... Finally took the little car to kwik fit and the exhaust will cost £160.. also need 2 new tyres which I was kind of ignoring so that brings the total up to £300..... We are getting it done at lunchtime today and I've kept a tally of car costs so far this year..
Just short of £600... all paid for in cash mind from different pots and a non payment of family loan this month.. thanks mum....

I could have used my emergency fund but would rather be a month later paying back my mum, as you never know what is round the corner..

Lots of spends at the moment with DD's 16th birthday coming up, luckily she doesn't want to do anything too expensive, but presents alone all add up.. I will mug OH for a contribution nearer the time.. He did offer me £100 for the car but I said I'd have it towards DD's b.day instead....

Bank still in credit.. still love it being in the black.. don't think I will ever get used to seeing a positive balance at the end of the month, I lived in my overdraft for so many years...

9th payment went off to SC and my totals should fall into the 55's come the 25th of the month... :T

Feeling a little glum, probably due to it being holiday season and not having a sunbed stylee one this year.. oh well at least next year we won't have the expense of the wedding abroad...2 days don't get excited and not a sunbed in sight... so hopefully will be able to do something next summer...

I've got 5 overtime visits to keep me busy this month, and hopefully more as the summer goes by, more pennies for the overtime pot that is now empty.....

I have got my night away with my best friend this weekend, haven't sorted out what we are doing other than a hotel, we may just fly by the seat of our pants and decide on the day, weather depending.....

Right off to stick a smile on my face and go earn some money....

:jIts Friday....... and I've got that crunchie feeling.....

Off for my London trip tomorrow with my best mate, won't cost us any normal money as we have been saving for years and I managed to get most of our money back when we had to cancel the planned birthday trip last year...

So we have a nice hotel booked and I've bought cinema tickets for the afternoon to keep us off the booze for a couple of hours...!! we then have £150 to spend on lunch and dinner, restaurant booked for evening and a voucher for a £5 for a nice little pub we frequent on our visits to the west end.. Hopefully will be a lovely 24 hours away from housework and family duties....

Need to hit the ground running on monday as I have lots of work to do over the next couple of weeks so must find my motivation and get on with it....!!!

Hope you all have a good weekend too...

Middle of the week already.. and what a scorcher it is... makes work much harder, but needs must...!!!

Weekend was lovely, went over budget by £60 but OH gave me some cash so it all balanced.. we ate and drank and laughed.. time with friends is so important and we have half our money left in the account to add to over the next year to do something further afield..

Monday didn't really happen as I forgot I needed to attend one of those, we are very poor and you may all lose your jobs types of meetings.. this has been going on for 5 years now so I have given up worrying about it and will worry if/when it happens...

Caught up yesterday and finally finished work at 7.45.. got the first overtime visit done and I'm planning the second one this evening.... Had the afternoon off to finish DD's birthday present shopping and we are all done now.. over budget again but OH has chipped in with £100 so no effect on my normal money...

Not a lot else to report so I shall go and get on with some adpoints. Still doing one poll but its so slow at the minute I get bored being chucked out so abandon it.. must try harder...

Also doing an extra survey for my RM surveys and will earn a £5 voucher after a fortnight. Will need to rebuild up my points from shopandscan as I've used them all for dd's b.day..I get about £10 every 6-7 weeks so should have a few by christmas.
