    I havent jailbroken any of my Apple products and never will. iMessage, Skype, Whatsapp, Facetime apps are all on the ipad when bought or available on the app store...

    There is absolutely no way you can use Whatsapp on an iPad unless it is jailbroken.

    I've already asked him, 'they just break', :(, apparently the previous model was much more resilient.
    They are used in a construction environment.

    Ah, I stand corrected! Text the wife (I dont use whatsapp, only iMessage, she is the whatsapper) and she isnt using it on the ipad, only imessage...
    my ipad definately isnt jailbroken, and i certainly wouldnt jailbreak it for whatsapp!

    There is but it is a bit fiddly to do.

    I have it on my word ipad, it isn't jailbroken as if it was it would automatically shut down when connecting to words system.
