Is anybody else looking forward to seeing what the new iPhone or iPhones will bring. I have heard it gets announced tonight so I am very much looking forward to it.
Does anybody know what time the video will go on Apples website? I am hoping it will be tonight.

Blimey you go to bed early as it's on Youtube as a live video link at 5pm tonight.

judging by apple history the big phone announcement will next autumn 2014. Rumours suggest that tonight will see iPhone 5s (upgraded iphone 5) and iPhone 5C (budget version of iPhone). Nothing really all that exciting.
Should hopefully get a release date for iOS7 which looks great.
Im hoping they will announce the iMac with Haswell processors, can finally order one then as I've been holding off all summer...0 -
Yeah from what I've heard it’s only supposed to be the iPhone 5S and the 5C, nothing worth staying up late for I'm afraid0

No point watching it live. Just wait until the event is over and go onto t3/Engadget etc and see the cliffs for it.
Just expecting it to be an updated model of the 5.
Be interesting to see what they do with their watch though.0 -
If you want iPerbole then most of the major press will swoon about it in the morning. If you want a dose of analytical cynicism, try theregister which has a generally less swoony nature thanks to a largely technical readership. Good balance :-)0

To be honest, we've more or less reached a bit of a technology plateau with smartphones. The incremental releases we'll see tonight, and on other occasions with Samsung/Google, are pretty minor and not that significant.
Maybe the phone will be a bit slimmer, a bit faster, a bit cheaper, a bit bigger, a bit less power hungry. Maybe we'll get RFID capability. Who knows... but I think it will be underwhelming...Of course, I may just be talking b****cks!0 -

Yeah, it's been surprisingly quiet but with Samsung releasing one I'm sure they'll have one in store.
For anyone whose interested in watching the event.
Here is a link to the stream for the event.
