Done the fun run/walk, went well, came back DD went to town with Mum and I took the dog to the vets.....................everything was going well................until I was home alone!! Haven't said anything to anyone so hop I can do better tomorrow........

Trying to find things to keep me occupied through the adverts now!!!

    Tomorrow is (another) new day!!!

    How is everyone else doing??

yes, I occupy myself so I don't have a smoke. I throw myself into tasks and all sorts so as not to smoke.
You just have to keep telling yourself you can do it. You need a positive mental attitude Hun.
    You will get there.

Vassa. You are such a dis-courager!

People on here are trying to tackle their addiction in their own ways. We're all different, and what worked for you might not be the right way for everyone else. Try and respect their efforts, or just keep out of it if you have nothing positive to say.

You all find it hard, i'm trying to help you not find it hard and it's seen as discouragement?

Fair do's, enjoy cigarettes because none of you will ever stop with this nonsense that's being spread in here.

I was waiting for your reply. I must apologise as I did just skim your posts when I realised there was no encouragement, but, how did you give up?
  • Hi everyone, still here. I had a night sweat last night, but think that was just the mild weather.

CK, I missed earlier your reference to blood tests. I've recently been there &, as far as I understand it, the five-phial tests are likely to indicate anything untoward. Let us know what further tests are required. I've been there, & I'm clean for cancer.

    Morning, how is everyone doing?

I had an epic fail yesterday, we were out and about in town and I just had to have a few off hubby's pack. He's not giving up, admittedly he only had 4-5 a day. Felt a bit ashamed last night so didn't come on here to report my fail :o. Starting again today, just put my patch on, onwards and upwards...
  • Hi guys, weekend was really bad for me. Didn't fall but didn't enjoy the process either. I'm nearing the 2 week mark myself and thought it would get easier by now but the whole weekend I've craved and craved. I know it's boredom (kids are away this weekend), I've taken dogs out, baked, cleaned (even the oven and we all know how fun that is) - basically anything to distract myself and it's been hard.

I hope you guys had relatively painless weekends.

Times like this I wish I hadn't binned the last ciggy so that I could have started again.

Still going strong-though last night was hard. So I ate instead :o
So I have fruit in now so if I get a bad craving I can eat fruit-instead of toast and crisps etc. :)
Well done all. Keep going! :)
