Now that sounds like my kind of cleaning tbh, may give it a go this weekend. My whole house needs a bit of attention and doing it this way makes it less overwhelming

Flylady is the ONLY way I can do the cleaning, it's all just too much effort otherwise. I don't even care if I don't do all of it, it's the bitesize achievable chunks that I love. I think it has something to do with my competitive nature, it makes it more a game than a chore :D just look at how many cakes I've made this week...I never, ever cook!!!

The ones I had today for 3 hours were ---> 4,4,5,5,5,8,9,14. The 14yr old actually not being the worst today :rotfl: he usually is ;) today it was the 9 year old instead. He kept throwing the very heavy rugby ball ds1 was playing with at the 4 & 5 yr olds heads.

Oy, I make that eight not six kids! If 14yo is a regular part of the gang, he needs promoting to chief entertainment officer / honorary grown-up!
But five littlies at once - wow; I doff my best hat to you - well done!
  • Yay I found you! Thought you hadnt posted for a few days!!

I won't be taking the neighbours kids again whilst I have the six I normally do I can tell you I have my 3, friend's 3 kids and 2 extras keep tagging along and it's exhausting  they all got told off yesterday so neighbours kids skulked off back home sulking ;):rotfl: I told them this morning that they couldn't come join in later as we're busy  quick think of something we need to do :rotfl:

ETA: I'm used to looking after lots of kids albeit I've not had to do it in a while (15 years!!!) I was the eldest grandchild of 20 odd. There would be at least 12 of us at any one time at nan's house and as I was eldest (by 2 years !!) I was in charge of them all whilst the mothers and grandmother sat and chatted! It seemed easier back then though!

I'm childminding 3, have 3 of my own and was being far too nice to the neighbour's kids, does that make sense? :rotfl: The neighbour's youngest child is lovely and in the same class as my middle child. The neighbour's eldest is a bloody pain in the butt and answers back non stop, is too rough with the younger kids and drives his mother to distraction (and wine) and is always grounded. So goodness knows why I thought he would be better behaved in my garden rather than theirs! They are to play across the fence with each other now ;) although this morning even that caused tears as he threw his football at one of the smaller kids by accident ....WHY play catch with a big heavy football, grr!
